Kahoot is like a game we use regularly in school and it has always been a genuinely fun part of our lessons.

I did not really find any downsides as I absolutely loved using it because the quizzes were so much fun.

Getting started is truly simple. People taking the quizzes also really enjoy the different backgrounds, the soundtrack and how easy it is to play.

Occasionally a few users get disconnected from the session unexpectedly which is annoying.

The quiz can lag a bit if the internet is slow. So it would be smart if it automatically turned off fancy animations and heavy graphics when it detects a poor connection.

Kahoot! is really good at turning tests and lessons into something fun and exciting. By adding a few smart tricks and a little bit of a race, everyone gets interested and excited about the lesson. Plus the giant box of games that are ready to play makes starting very easy. With a quick search, you can find games that match your subject and start playing almost right away. And if someone wants to try it, they can make an account, find games and begin playing with their group very fast.

Cons

If you don't quickly get a paid account it feels very limited. Once you do pay it becomes much more flexible and helpful. It is clear the company needs to make money but the free version does not really make you slowly want to pay as it feels more like you either buy the full game or miss out on it completely.
