“Parenting Education Registration”
Pros
Learning Stream has significantly streamlined our process since we started using it almost a year ago. While there was a learning curve, the onboarding experience and customer service have been truly exceptional.
Cons
While Learning Stream is an expensive program, it does streamline our processes and save us valuable time.

“Learning Stream”
Pros
Learning Stream was one of the few solutions we found that allowed the level of customization we were looking for. With customization comes some additional hands-on preparation. We took on the implementation process ourselves without much assistance, but the support contacts have always been available to help us achieve our desired outcomes.
Cons
It would be beneficial to have additional information available on the Instructor Portal. We would like to see more details about registered students and each course.

“CPRESA Implementation”
Pros
Learning Stream fulfills all our requirements with its intuitive and easy-to-use interface, coupled with prompt and knowledgeable customer service.
Cons
Previously, we used a 2-tier approval system for class registrations, which is not possible in Learning Stream. However, the ease of use and comprehensive reporting options in Learning Stream have made the need for that system unnecessary.

“Streamlined Processes”
Pros
Thanks to the collaboration with the Learning Stream team, we were able to implement custom features that greatly streamlined our processes and increased our program management capacity.

Due to the abundance of features and functionality, it was initially challenging to locate and access certain items when customizing the system according to our requirements.

“badges and learning plans shine”
Pros
Our team uses Learning Plans so faculty can work toward badges and clearly see what they still need to finish in order to earn one. It has been going really well for us and even though we have only had the system in place for a short time, faculty are already actively using it to make progress on their badges.
Cons
Getting the learning plan set up was a bit challenging at first but after we figured it out, it has been working well.

“reliable support”
Pros
From both the participant and admin side, Learning Stream feels very user-friendly. The registration process is well organized and it gives us an efficient, structured way to maintain clear records for auditing. Customer support has also been excellent and the system usually makes it possible to resolve whatever issue or obstacle comes up.
Cons
The biggest downside for me is that two people cannot make edits at the same time.

“registration automation that delivers”
Pros
Once the courses are set up at the beginning with confirmation emails, reminder emails, evaluation forms and certificates, the whole registration process becomes automated and very simple to monitor. Canceling or refunding registrations is also easy and moving someone to a different class is just as convenient. Running reports is quick and the automatic email system works really well for waitlisted attendees. If someone cancels, the next person on the waitlist is automatically notified that they've been moved into the registration list and given 48 hours to pay the tuition fee. It's also very helpful to see exactly how much revenue each course is bringing in. Copying courses makes future setup much faster and the attendee account setup gives people one central place to view certificates, track past courses and print receipts. On top of that Learning Stream's customer service is outstanding as they always get back to us quickly whenever we have questions.
Cons
One limitation is that attendee notes can only be added for confirmed registrants. It would be much more useful if notes could also be entered for people who have not completed registration. For instance, if someone starts registering but doesn't finish and one of our staff members follows up with a phone call, there's no way to record that conversation in the system. Because of that, duplicate follow-up calls can end up happening. I'd also really like the registration lists to be sortable by different columns without having to generate a report first.

“Proven highly useful”
Pros
Coming from a setup that relied heavily on manual course registration work, Learning Stream has been a huge step forward for us. It's flexible, dependable and has handled every scenario we've put in front of it. We spent time figuring out exactly what we needed in a true registration system and during our search and evaluation, Learning Stream clearly came out on top. After a full year of using it, that decision has absolutely held up. We've run into both expected and unexpected situations and the system has consistently provided solutions that fit naturally within how it's built rather than forcing us into awkward workarounds. The person on our team who used to manage all of those manual processes day to day is especially happy with the change.
Cons
With a platform that offers this much flexibility some added complexity is part of the package. It does come with a bit of a learning curve and there are quite a few settings that need to be configured correctly before you publish an event. That's really the tradeoff as you get more options but things aren't as simple. On the positive side, their support has been outstanding. During implementation, we received personalized training and their help desk has been consistently responsive and clear whenever we've needed assistance. The knowledge base is also thorough and usually covers most questions. And when something still comes up, their team has always been available to help.

“helpful training reminders”
Pros
Using Learning Stream has been very easy and I really like the automated emails it sends to confirm registration along with reminder messages before the training takes place. The attendance tracking feature has also been very useful.
Cons
One thing that would make it even better is a calendar hold option for Outlook or Gmail that could include the related Zoom link or location details.

“fantastic support and simple setup”
Pros
Learning Stream is very easy to use and we had our courses published with what felt like very little training. On top of that the customer support has been absolutely fantastic. They reply very quickly, usually the same day depending on when we reach out and they continue checking in while they work through the issue so we always know the status. That level of communication is awesome and very much appreciated.
Cons
Honestly I do not have any negatives to mention. It has been a wonderful tool for us to use.

“well-organized event management”
Pros
Using LearningStream has been pretty easy overall. The interface is laid out really well especially with the clear separation between live and past events. It's also helpful that admins can customize the registration lists based on what they need to see which makes reviewing information much more convenient.
Cons
It does offer integration with our other platforms, just not in the exact way we were hoping for. Even with that limitation, it has still been a noticeable improvement compared to the overly manual processes we were dealing with before.

“customizable platform overall”
Pros
After searching for a platform that would work the way we needed, we struggled to find the right fit until we discovered Learning Stream. It offers a lot of flexibility and customization and the support team has been fantastic the entire time.
Cons
Because the software is so detailed, it takes some time to learn and fully understand how much needs to be added or adjusted depending on the event. The terminology in it is also quite different from the language our organization uses so that took a bit of getting used to.

“Really liked the learning plans”
Pros
One thing that really works well is how much control there is over registrant messaging. It's also helpful that the registration pages can be styled to fit our website which keeps the experience more consistent. The Learning Plans feature has been valuable for tracking progress and the registrant access module is a nice addition since it lets people check their own attendance and Learning Plan status without needing extra help.
Cons
The page design customization wasn't very user friendly and it took quite a bit of time to figure out how to make it work the way we wanted. There are also some elements that cannot be customized separately for each division using the system which has created some challenges for us.

“Top training management package”
Pros
The interface stood out as one of the strongest parts of Learning Stream. It offers several ways to search for events through customizable catalogs that fit our employee training needs really well. Users can look up events either in a list format or on a calendar which makes browsing much more convenient. After selecting an event, the details page gives a full picture of everything important, including the date, time, location and instructor notes. On the user side, the access module makes it simple to review training history, previous registrations, Learning Plans and notification records. From the admin side, the automatic notifications have saved us a huge amount of time. We no longer have to manually handle daily event communications like sending Zoom links or other event information. Once notification templates are created, they can be reused quickly across events and if someone needs a reminder, that information can be resent with a single click. Another major plus is the integration with Canvas LMS which gives registrants immediate access to their Canvas courses. We have been extremely happy with the switch to Learning Stream because it gives us a complete solution for managing and tracking employee training.
Cons
There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to understanding the system side of this tool but the customer service and support were excellent and helped us get everything set up and launched successfully within a few weeks. At this point, we are working on customizing reports so they better meet our data analysis needs.

“helpful student tracking tools”
Pros
Getting users or students registered is much simpler with Learning Stream and it keeps being useful after signup with tools that help manage records, monitor progress and stay on top of the data you need. It's a really valuable option for anyone who wants a more organized and efficient way to run the education experience.
Cons
A few features could use more automation and require less manual input but even with that, it's still a dependable option for managing students and their activities.
