“Lots of features”
Pros
I like how simple the platform is to use and to understand which makes locating features and getting started much quicker than anticipated. A broad selection of features and functionalities is available and I appreciate having those options. I enjoy the ongoing enhancements the platform receives and interactions with customer support are prompt, knowledgeable and helpful when I need assistance.
Cons
My experience is that the configurable aspects of certain features feel somewhat constrained although I can usually accomplish tasks in the platform through several alternative approaches. The visual UX can feel limited.

I have noticed that establishing integrations with other systems often requires more time than I would like which can delay our implementation and rollout schedules.

“Changed our training methods for the better”
Pros
For our organization it has fundamentally changed how we oversee and distribute training content primarily because the platform is so easy to set up and administrate that onboarding and ongoing management are much less burdensome than before. I've also observed that recent upgrades to the reporting suite deliver far more detailed, actionable analytics that help guide our decision-making and strategic planning.
Cons
Would like to see much stronger integration with Microsoft products and systems given that those tools form the backbone of our daily workflows and it would organize many processes if they worked more seamlessly together. Also the experience of designing and assembling skills paths still feels unwieldy and in need of substantial refinement to become genuinely intuitive and easier for our team to use.

“simple use but slow updates”
Pros
I find it user-friendly both as an administrator and a learner, creating and editing courses is very convenient and moving through the learning path is effortless.
Cons
Frustrated I can't do a bulk update of expiration dates, editing the date in each module individually is inefficient, really very time consuming and unnecessarily tedious.

Pros
I appreciate the platform's capacity to offer various methods for engaging clients as well as internal employees through e-learning courses since it enables multiple approaches to training and interaction.

Pros
Its highly adaptable and simple to operate, offering what I consider a well-measured compromise between its functionality and its price.
Cons
Although certain capabilities aren't accessible right away and I need to ask Customer Success to enable them because their team responds promptly this only represents a small issue for me.

“custom fit for our community”
Pros
Genuinely I value how easy it is to operate both from an administrator's standpoint and as an end user because the interface and controls are intuitive and require minimal training. Also the navigation is exceptionally clear and the extensive customization options have been critical for our non-profit which operates in a niche way that differs from typical organizations allowing us to tailor LearnUpon precisely to our requirements so we can effectively engage and serve our wide audience across Pennsylvania.
Cons
At the outset we encountered challenges because the platform required each username to be formatted as an email address which posed a significant barrier in the human services sector we serve where digital literacy has traditionally been deprioritized among our participants. however the support representatives collaborated closely with our team and together we devised a practical workaround involving email-formatted usernames combined with disabling automatic emails, maintaining that approach until the general public and our user base began to adopt digital tools more broadly as a result of the shifts brought on by Covid.

“quick help but unfinished tools”
Pros
This year, when we launched the Dialpad Delivery Partner Program, I leaned on LearnUpon as our go-to LMS to build a truly effective certification for our channel partners. The platform was a dream to work with, it let us rationalize our content development, smoothly integrate our existing SCORM packages and refine our entire certification workflow for maximum efficiency. Beyond the great features, the ongoing support from our LearnUpon Customer Success Manager has been invaluable delivering timely updates on new capabilities that have directly helped us iterate and strengthen the program's impact.
Cons
A number of key functions remain under development which limits the product's usefulness until those essential features are finished.

Pros
I appreciate how simple and user-friendly the platform is because its simple, interactive interface combines flexible tracking and reporting features with the ability to customize sub-portals inside our environment and honestly the advantages keep piling up
Cons
We understand that it is still evolving and it requires time for new improvements to undergo testing and roll out yet I recognize that this careful approach results in reliable product delivery

“strong partner for certifications”
Pros
This year when Dialpad rolled out the Dialpad Delivery Partner Program, it gave our channel partners the opportunity to become certified to deploy Dialpad offerings and I leaned on LearnUpon's platform as a dependable, feature-rich LMS to build out the program, orchestrate and maintain course content and surface analytics about learner activity and program performance. We managed to rationalize our chart-development methodology, swiftly connect and work with existing SCORM course packages and refine the certification workflow to be more efficient and on top of that the ongoing engagement and support from our LearnUpon Customer Success Manager has been invaluable delivering timely proactive updates about new LearnUpon capabilities that have helped us iterate and strengthen the program.
Cons
This is not really a con but because they continually innovate and push updates to the product, we need to remain vigilant so our customer-focused priorities stay aligned with those advancements and so we can adopt new features as they become available.

“smooth on any device”
Pros
From my experience as both a learner and a contributor, it feels exceptionally interactive across devices whether I'm logging in on a laptop or using my mobile phone and for content creators and administrators there is dependable support available so even if someone is unfamiliar with the nuances of learning and development, the system makes it simple to begin exploring and building out material.
Cons
I have very few criticisms. the only one or two suggestions we've mentioned as 'nice-to-haves' were promptly relayed to the development team and while they're not yet implemented, there's a real possibility they will appear in a future update.

“LearnUpon's Ease of Use Matches Their Level of Support”
Pros
LearnUpon is very easy to learn. Even though I consider myself quite tech-savvy, I had no prior experience in instructional design before working with LearnUpon. Surprisingly, that wasn't an issue at all. I am now successfully managing our online learning platform through LearnUpon. While we currently utilize the basic features for our needs, someone with a little more experience could effortlessly create an even more visually appealing and engaging user experience. The customer success and support teams at LearnUpon truly make using the system a delightful experience. It's rare to find a company that genuinely cares about your satisfaction these days.
Cons
It's not as customizable in terms of branding as I would prefer, but they are always updating and refreshing the interface to make it look more beautiful. It's not a significant concern.

“Brought our L&D forward although with some challenges”
Pros
Switching to LearnUpon has made a monumental difference in how we deliver our onboarding and training. Previously, we relied on Excel and Microsoft Stream, which pales in comparison. Uploading videos and adding headings is relatively simple with LearnUpon. However, aside from that, I can't find any other positives about the system.
Cons
As an administrator, I find the platform overall cumbersome, slow, and challenging to navigate. My main concern lies with the layout, as there is no labeling indicating the number of pages of courses available. Instead, I have to click through each page to reach the end. Additionally, when creating a new version of a course, the previous course is archived but still remains in the courses subpage. The platform's customization options are limited, and it lacks the ability to create a unique course format beyond the standard headings, text, video, and quiz. During my time using the platform, I noticed minimal progress in its development. While communication with our representative was good, there weren't many noticeable changes that stood out to me.

“Fast setup and great service”
Pros
Our organization transitioned from having no learning platform to adopting LearnUpon in a matter of weeks, a turnaround that based on my past experiences where similar deployments with other vendors consumed months genuinely surprised me and the speed of onboarding was impressive. Equally noteworthy has been the caliber of customer service and coming from me, that endorsement carries weight because everyone I've interacted with across Sales, Account Management, Customer Success and Customer Support has been consistently helpful and responsive and in fact any team member I've worked with has demonstrated competence. Regarding features and functionality, the implementation itself was relatively simple and integrations with our SSO, Microsoft Teams and Zoom were simple to configure. Because it was purpose-built from the ground up, it includes the core capabilities necessary to administer users, groups and courses effectively and my team and I access the system every day while learners regularly use it for onboarding, compliance tracking and professional development.
Cons
There are a few quirks that I have noticed and to illustrate when a learner account is disabled there is no obvious visual cue in the user listing so you must click into the individual's profile to confirm status which is inconvenient although workarounds exist, they impose extra steps on administrative workflows. It would be beneficial to allow custom content to be placed on a learner's Home page to tailor their experience and additionally I would very much appreciate a search-reporting feature that shows which keywords users searched for which searches returned results and which did not, since that insight would help us optimize content and navigation.
