Accessible compliance content options

Pros

There's a broad selection of compliance content available and it's especially useful that clients can customize the prebuilt material to fit their needs.

Cons

The pricing setup for xAPI, AICC and SCORM packages feels inconsistent. I don't really understand why a content provider would charge different rates depending on the package format we want to export. Other than that the extracted multilingual SCORM packages tend to be a bit too large.

frustrating setup and weak support

Pros

One thing I do value about this system is the ADP integration especially for a global team like ours. It helps automate training assignments by making sure each employee receives the correct new hire courses along with any required annual or biannual training based on the country, US state or city where they work.

Cons

Unfortunately the customer support has been slow and not very responsive. Getting started with the platform was a frustrating process partly because I had to make a lot of content edits since much of the wording did not align with our company culture. With many other vendors there are short how to videos and helpful support materials that make troubleshooting and learning the system much easier. Here the four training sessions I attended were all live and lasted an hour each and even after sitting through them it still felt like I needed web developer level knowledge just to make minor edits or complete basic setup tasks. The whole initial setup felt overly complicated and far from organized. We have connected ADP with several other vendors before and those installations were usually quick and low effort because their technical teams understood the integration and handled most of it with only a few simple steps from us. With this system we had to schedule several live calls between their IT team and ADP support and it became obvious that their team was not confident in how to set up the integration. After long email chains and more testing than we have ever had to do with any other vendor we finally got it working but I still get a daily error email from them that they have not been able to fix. Another disappointment is that one of the big selling points in the demo was the ability to refresh training content each year but I hesitate to do that now because it would likely mean making a large number of edits all over again and booking more one-on-one calls with support just to update the material.

better training with profiler

Pros

The updated course format has been a real improvement. By rolling out the AHD US course with the profiler feature we were able to cut our sexual harassment training suite by 60% which made the whole program much more efficient.

Cons

Something I'd still like to see is the profiler available in more courses so we can make sure the right content reaches the right employees including function specific risk areas.

Flexible course editing

Pros

Being able to update my own course content and adjust knowledge check questions is really valuable. The download process is also fairly simple to handle.

Cons

I do wish there were an integration that would let me know when course updates are available and it's still hard to figure out how to apply their updates to the courses we already have published. I'd also prefer the packages to come in xAPI so they would integrate into our LMS with fewer bugs.

appealing design but too text heavy

Pros

The platform looks polished and is simple to figure out. From an administrator's side creating slides is easy and doesn't take much effort.

Cons

There's far too much reading and not enough narration built in. It would be much better if it integrated with an AI voiceover tool and the image selection available right now is seriously lacking.

Clear guidance

Pros

Whenever something comes up the team responds quickly and helps resolve it without delay. We also have a monthly meeting with our Client Success Manager which has been really valuable. Their support in helping us figure out the right path forward based on our specific needs has been especially appreciated.

Cons

At this point there really aren't any issues or drawbacks that we dislike.

too many assignment delays

Pros

A thing they do really well is the content. It's reassuring that the material stays current with each state's legal requirements so it never feels outdated. Their customer service team is also genuinely pleasant to work with.

Cons

That said the platform really doesn't come across as equipped to support medium or large organizations. If you need automatic course assignments or any real level of assignment complexity beyond manually selecting users you can expect plenty of issues, very long turnaround times for requests (sometimes several weeks to a month) and a lot of drawn out back and forth conversations.

well informed team, slow replies

Pros

The support team is helpful when they respond and knows a lot across different subject areas.
