“Ideal solution for student's problems

Pros

I can connect with my instructor and classmates effortlessly through this platform. Posting and answering questions publicly is easy plus I appreciate being able to send private messages when needed.

Cons

To me the interface feels pretty outdated and reminds me of Gmail from years ago. Since students are the main users, I think they really need to work on making it more visually appealing and modern-looking.

“Reliable Academic Tool

Pros

Makes it possible to quickly post questions and get responses from instructors, TAs, and classmates through the forum feature. Instructors also use it to track how engaged we are with the coursework.

Cons

I think the interface could use some polish and I really wish there was a mobile app for notifications instead of relying on email alerts. It's easy to miss important updates that way.

“Decent Question Answer software

Pros

I really appreciate how this platform covers all the bases for for a Q&A program. Instructors, TAs and students can all contribute by posting notes, questions and answers, which creates an ideal learning environment.

Cons

Overall look of the software could definitely use some work and I've run into various glitches. The app occasionally crashes on me and links to other questions dont always function properly. Would be nice if we could delete our own posts and archive completed classes. Also feels like development has slowed down lately

“Makes collaboration fun and easy

Pros

It has multiple ways to post questions. Being able to tag specific groups is really handy and when a student wants to reach just the instructors instead of the entire class, they can easily use that targeted feature.

Cons

The search feature is pretty frustrating. When I try finding posts using keywords, it doesn't filter properly. Only works if I use post number, but remembering those numbers all the time is a pain. The dashboard is also tricky with so many tabs to deal with. A simpler format would definitely help make things easier to manage.

“Easy note-sharing but post stats update slowly

Pros

This platform lets students share notes and ask questions easily. The landing page is really helpful since I can quickly see recent posts and check how many questions still need answers in the 'class at a glance' section. Another nice touch is having assignment tabs at the top. Makes it super easy to jump between different coursework. The whole interface keeps things simple but gets the job done helping me find what I need without any difficulty.

Cons

Kinda frustrating how the post statistics can be pretty slow to refresh sometimes. I'd see that someone already answered a question but when I logged back in later, it would still show as unanswered. Not a huge deal but it gets confusing trying to figure out if there's actually a new question or if the page just hasn't updated yet.

Pros

Makes sharing materials and posting grades really simple plus the Q&A feature works great for student engagement.

Cons

Students sometimes have to sign up manually before accessing their course content. Unnecessary!

Pros

Setting up new classes takes just minutes and the interface feels both pleasing and efficient. I appreciate how students can ask questions anonymously which really encourages participation. The customization options are impressive and changing settings is no issue. What makes this particularly great for STEM courses is the ability to type math symbols and write code directly in posts.

Cons

The mobile app doesn't have all the features I need. Plus, when I'm using the browser version, sometimes clicking in the text field doesn't bring up the cursor and I cant start typing right away.

Pros

I like how it creates separate rooms within a course depending on what you're trying to accomplish. This really helps keep discussions focused and organized.

Cons

UI could definitely use some work. There's room for improvement to make it more user-friendly and polished.

Pros

I find this platform really easy to use and my students love how simple it is to post questions about exams or coursework and get help from their classmates.

Cons

Nothing really stands out as problematic. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and I can't find any real issues with it.

“Too complicated, nowhere near other options

Pros

Couple of key features that I think are nice. Being able to pin any post whether it's a note or question and organize them into folders, makes it easier to sort through older content by topic. Plus, having the option to make posts either anonymous or public gives users nice flexibility in how they want to share.

Cons

What bothers me is that other platforms are way easier to use. In educational environments especially, Blackboard offers a much smoother user experience.

Pros

Just love how engaging this platform is. Asking questions and getting responses feels natural and connecting with others makes the whole experience better. When I used it during my statistics course, it was perfect for creating peer-to-peer discussions where we could help each other out. Students found the answers they needed while those responding got to show their understanding and practice what they'd learned.

Cons

The interface feels a bit outdated though it doesn't detract from how well the platform performs overall.

Pros

I found this to be a really effective way to keep class discussions organized. As an undergrad, it made communicating with my professor and classmates so much simpler whether I was asking questions about assignments or helping others out. Having everything in one accessible place really boosted my productivity throughout the semester.

Cons

The main thing that bothered me was how posts are organized. It would be much more effective if you could sort them into specific categories like having separate sections for each assignment. This would make searching through everything way easier instead of having posts scattered everywhere.

For us, the tool makes it simple to share questions or comments that the whole class can view and respond to. The interface is really user-friendly on both desktop and mobile devices.

Cons

Sometimes it gets glitchy when I'm trying to type responses. There are moments where it just won't let me enter anything at all.

Pros

We like that it tracks which questions have been answered and which ones are still pending. The system also clearly shows when an instructor has responded or endorsed an answer plus it flags any follow-up questions that still need attention.

Cons

The career features on the platform sometimes feel unnecessary. Also, I wish there were notifications when resources get updated.
