Schoology serves as an excellent and versatile learning management system (LMS) enabling regular communication between teaching staff and students. It also facilitates effective parent-teacher communication. Additionally it supports students who are absent or will miss school due to sports or vacations.

Cons

The transition from our current SMS to Schoology is not always seamless and can be frustrating at times.

The inability to provide feedback directly to the web-based designer is the only negative aspect I have encountered with this software.

The availability of the free version is a plus especially for educators with a smaller number of students. The curriculum organization under resources and the ability to assign specific assignments to certain students are valuable features particularly for targeting skills tested on the ACT.

Cons

It would be beneficial if the free version allowed for changing the access code although this limitation is not a deal-breaker.

Additionally Schoology provides a free version for teachers who may not have access to the full Enterprise version due to funding limitations.

Schoology should allocate more engineering resources to enhance its LTI integrations and user interface surpassing its competitors.

Although we have set up auto imports they don't always work reliably. While their support is excellent we find ourselves seeking assistance more frequently than expected at least once a week.

Occasionally Schoology experiences downtime which is the only issue I've encountered. Other than that it is an excellent program.

Its simplicity in design enhances the learning experience and makes navigating the software a breeze.

So far I haven't come across any serious cons that would make me doubt Schoology's status as one of the best if not the best software in the market.

Sharing data between Docents can be challenging. As a new usher I struggle to locate information even with step-by-step directions from other Docents.

The only thing I dislike is that assignment deadlines can be hard to see when a window is minimized or scrolled to the top.

Accessing documents chat threads and files created by my instructor on this website was incredibly easy and convenient.

It would be beneficial if it were easier to locate folders or determine the current location within a course on the website. Tabs within tabs on the left side of the screen could provide helpful navigation.

As an educator Schoology has become my go-to platform. It enables me to effortlessly post homework assignments create discussion pages and communicate with parents among other features. One of its standout attributes is the ability to provide differentiated assignments without causing stress among students. Additionally Schoology facilitates collaboration among teachers allowing us to share resources and ideas that benefit both students and educators.

Cons

The only downside I have noticed with Schoology is the sheer number of available features which can sometimes be overwhelming when navigating the site. My advice is to select one or two specific functions you want to use Schoology for and focus on those until you become more familiar with the software. Once you feel comfortable you can gradually explore and utilize more of Schoology's offerings.
