I love the versatility in assessment types and the fact that Schoology automatically grades assignments. Furthermore I appreciate that the assignments are visible on the calendar for all students.

Easy for the Teachers Tough for the Parents

Pros

Schoology appears to be a straightforward and user-friendly application from a teacher's perspective. Teachers can easily upload coursework and organize their course plans with minimal effort. While I cannot confirm this with certainty it seems that way considering how quickly the school system in my area has adopted it.

Cons

There is a learning curve for users (parents/students) and it is not as user-friendly as expected from an LMS. Teachers have made modifications to fit their instructional style but for parents unfamiliar with computers or learning management systems it can be challenging.
