I like its visual appearance as it is easy for students to navigate. I also appreciate the option to keep things unpublished until we are ready to make them public.

Cons

I'm not particularly fond of its lack of compatibility with Google products. Although I recently discovered the Schoology assessments and assignments area I wish the creation process was more user-friendly.

This software offers numerous features that typically require additional fees in other Learning Management Systems. Once you get started it is very straightforward to use.

It would be beneficial if they offered a free rostering option.

I am impressed with how this application facilitates asynchronous learning. Students can effortlessly access their course materials and take control of their own learning. It is definitely worth implementing in your classrooms.

The only minor issue I have with this application is that it doesn't allow changing the profile picture from a phone or tablet; it must be done on a laptop. However this doesn't impact the learning experience.

The most appealing aspect of Schoology is that it allows my son to participate as a distance learner and remain connected with his teacher and classmates.

The most challenging aspect of Schoology is its lack of user-friendliness. It provides teachers with considerable flexibility in setting up their classes homework etc. which can be confusing for distance learners relying solely on Schoology.

I like how Schoology seamlessly integrates with Google Meet links Google Slide links and similar features. It remains relatively easy to use even with a 5-year-old.

The layout can be confusing depending on how the teacher sets it up. It's not highly organized but serves the purpose for virtual school thus far.

This software simplifies the navigation of my students' apps assignments and resources. Teachers can easily set up class schedules and links in a user-friendly format.

So far it has been trouble-free and incredibly user-friendly. I haven't encountered any issues as a user. One child needs to sign in each time on their computer while the other remains signed in.

It's like social media for all participants allowing people to view like and comment on posts and assignments. Uploading material from Google is effortless and anyone of any age can learn to use this app!

The only area for improvement is the interface's appearance. The limited customization options make the app itself appear dull. In today's world aesthetics matter to users!

The gradebook is absolutely fantastic and it's incredibly easy to use. Grading projects and witnessing their automatic upload to the gradebook saves a significant amount of time.

The uploading feature is frustrating as it involves navigating through multiple screens to upload a document. On the teacher side I have an issue with the missed assignments tally. When I click on a resubmitted assignment it doesn't directly take me to the specific resubmission but instead leads me to the overall assignment forcing me to guess which student made the resubmission.

With its high level of customization and unique feature set Schoology stands out among other learning management systems.

As someone who has used various learning management systems for many years I find Schoology to be exceptional in every aspect. It excels at what it does.

Our church also operates a fully-accredited K5-13 grade private academy. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit it caused a sudden shift to virtual learning. Schoology proved to be a lifesaver for our teachers enabling them to effortlessly create manage and share academic content. The platform's seamless integration allows us to view upcoming assignments submit work and conduct virtual tests making the transition to online learning a breeze.

While some features may initially confuse users I attribute it more to individual teachers implementing their lessons rather than the developer's fault.

Most importantly it was remarkably easy to figure out on our own when the schools closed and teachers were working tirelessly day and night to get all their students set up.

During my time as a teacher Schoology proved to be an invaluable tool for engaging students in the classroom. It offered convenience and ease in sharing resources like notes and websites as well as creating interactive lessons with embedded videos. I particularly appreciated its ability to facilitate computer-based activities such as scavenger hunts and provided a platform for assessments exit tickets and review materials. The seamless integration with e-school made grading a seamless process. Schoology truly made a positive impact on student engagement and learning experiences in my classroom.

One aspect I found challenging was setting up answers for questions particularly when wanting a more open-ended response. Although they do provide options for rubric grading there is no built-in capability to grade on a curve. This means that even though grades can be directly loaded into the school's system administrators expect you to manually adjust student grades separately. Despite this Schoology consistently adds new features to make teaching easier. Additionally they offer two different types of assessments although one of them is not as user-friendly as the other.

The software offers a wide range of features that require users to invest time and gain experience to utilize them creatively. However a convenient link to pop-up gifs would serve as a helpful reminder and allow users to take full advantage of the available tools.
