Excellent LMS, Outstanding Team

Pros

The product is truly excellent, above all else. The team at TraCorp, from top to bottom, is exceptional. TraCorp is a reliable, customer-centered, and family-owned American LMS company. When I need assistance, I usually speak to the same people I started with nearly 5 years ago. TraCorp feels like an extension of my business, which is incredibly valuable. Having a great team to ensure the smooth operation of my business is priceless.

Cons

Honestly, there's nothing to mention. TraCorp has customized both of the LMS platforms I use to perfectly fit my specific needs. They have successfully fulfilled all my build and task requests. It's hard to find any cons when you don't have any.

fantastic tracking and support

Pros

Using this LMS has been very easy and the tracking and reporting tools have been outstanding. On top of that the customer support is exceptional as whenever I have a question or run into a possible issue, the team responds and resolves it very quickly, often within just a few minutes.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints. We also have to work with another system that came from an acquisition and it's nowhere near as capable as this one.

Affordable

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is the pricing. It's reasonable enough to work well for companies of any size and it's especially valuable for small businesses and nonprofit organizations that don't have the budget for expensive, high-end learning management systems. Another strong point is how customizable it is. Compared with a lot of the bigger-name LMS platforms, this one gives you much more flexibility. You can handle plenty of the adjustments on your own and for more advanced changes, the vendor is willing to work with you to make them happen. On top of that the support team has been consistently responsive and quick to help which makes a big difference when something needs attention.

Cons

My overall experience with this LMS has been very positive and I honestly don't have any real drawbacks to mention.

feature-rich platform

Pros

Switching to this tool has been a major step up for us since we did not have any LMS in place before. It comes with plenty of features which has made a noticeable difference. Whenever we need something or have a question, the help desk is quick to respond and very helpful.

Cons

There is a lot built into the system but it is not always clear what the best setup approach should be. Since I only log in as an Admin from time to time, I am not always confident that I am using the platform in the most effective way.

user-friendly admin and automation

Pros

TraCorp LMS has been proven very user friendly and simple to navigate. The standout feature for us is being able to bulk upload students and automatically assign content through user group rules which saves a lot of time. On the admin side everything is easy to manage and each tab clearly explains its purpose with plenty of helpful tooltips. The student side also looks polished and visually appealing and it's simple to customize so you can leave messages for staff to follow.

Cons

At this point we really haven't come across anything we don't like.

flexible course building powerhouse

Pros

The biggest win with this LMS is how much freedom it gives when creating learning courses. It really feels like there are no real limits to what you can build. On top of that it offers plenty of ways to track training progress and keep records organized and it also makes it possible to add microlearning content and task certifications however you need.

Cons

Honestly I do not really have any complaints. It gives you the flexibility to create just about anything you can come up with so there is not much to dislike.

Customization options are amazing

Pros

One of the best parts is how customizable it is and it works well for a wide range of different audiences.

Cons

Getting familiar with all the tools and features took a fair amount of time. The user guides were helpful overall but a few of them seemed out of date.

simple design

Pros

Using it is not a problem and the interface is user friendly from the start. It also has a clean, polished look that makes the whole experience pleasant.

Cons

One part that is confusing is buying classes. Students have to add funds to their account first before they can register and that process is not very user friendly.

Great value for price

Pros

Their platform delivers a lot of value and the pricing is very fair when it comes to handling changes and new task orders. The support team stays involved, responds quickly and has been very helpful throughout.

Cons

Honestly nothing comes to mind. It has worked the way we expected and working with it has been a genuinely pleasant experience.

badges and rankings keep it engaging

Pros

One thing I really like is being able to assign my own classes instead of waiting on someone else. It also helps a lot that multiple admins can build and manage content. The badges and ranking features add a competitive element that keeps things more engaging for me.

Cons

The main issue is that transcript information does not refresh automatically after finishing a class. I also wish more screens were accessible from one central area because right now it takes too many different pages and dropdowns to complete a single task. It would also be better if profile pictures could be uploaded directly from a computer.

responsive support and regular updates

Pros

TraCorp keeps improving the platform with frequent updates and each one makes it more user friendly. Their customer service has also been excellent. Whenever I run into a question or issue, the Help Desk gets back to me quickly and is very helpful.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of anything else I would need from it and if something did come up, I am confident their team would help me work through it.

Top platform with responsive support

Pros

Both the admin side and the student interface is user friendly and welcoming, even for brand-new users. Being able to tailor the system and add features that fit our specific needs makes it much more valuable and practical for us as administrators as well as for our learners. TraCorp has also been very responsive whenever issues come up which shows accountability and a real commitment to making sure we're getting the best possible value from the platform.

Cons

The thing I'd still like to see is more transparency around the rollout of new features and clearer communication when those updates are launched.

responsive support win

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how customizable the platform is. If changes are needed, the modification costs are fairly reasonable which is a big plus. The support team has also been very responsive and helpful whenever issues come up. On the student side, the system is simple and quick to learn.

Cons

I noticed that the admin side takes more time and effort to fully understand compared to the student experience. I'd also like to have more flexibility in how things are displayed and sorted on the student side. Giving students a bit more control over their experience would make the platform even better.

tailored platform

Pros

To me its one of the biggest strengths is how well the LMS can be customized to fit our specific requirements. The customer service team has also been outstanding as they are very responsive, attentive and genuinely focused on what we need.

Cons

At this stage I really don't have any major negatives to point out. If anything, the only small area for improvement is making sure the scope of the SOWs is defined more clearly at times.

Provides custom content control

Pros

Having the flexibility to customize the platform, keep full control over our own content and get quick responses whenever issues come up has been a real plus.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind as a downside with this product.
