“Simple and User Friendly Platform

Pros

I really appreciate how everything is consolidated into one platform. The automatic scheduling feature saves me tons of time and getting instant grading with great feedback has been a game changer for my productivity.

Cons

The site goes down and becomes unavailable at times.

“Ridiculous pricing

Pros

Its quite simple to get used to, nothing too complicated. The multiple attempt feature for assignments is something I like. However when I stack it up against other similar platforms, it doesn't quite measure up to what's out there.

Cons

The price is absolutely ridiculous. I ended up paying $200 CAD for an ebook textbook when my classmates got it cheaper through the school library. I've reached out multiple times trying to get some help or even a partial refund but nobody responds or offers any assistance whatsoever.

“Stress fee Assignment Creation and Grading

Pros

Love how this platform offers a wide range of assignments covering relevant course topics that I can easily distribute to my students. The detailed information and feedback it provides really takes a load off my shoulders as an instructor making my job much less stressful.

Cons

I wish there was more flexibility with assignments. When there's just one question that doesn't fit our course or student needs, I'd love to remove it while keeping everything else but that feature isn't available yet.

Pros

I can quickly assess how my classes are performing through the analytics and it really helps me give students detailed feedback on where they need improvement.

Cons

The instructor account setup feels a bit disorganized and scattered to me. I find the layout confusing and think it could really benefit from better organization to make the experience smoother.

“Complicated software

Pros

Being able to assist students with their online math assignments is really useful. The whole process felt much more streamlined compared to traditional paper based homework. What stood out to me was the file upload feature. I haven't seen this feature in other math homework platforms I've worked with while tutoring.

Cons

Students struggled with entering answers since the formatting requirements weren't always obvious. Getting math formulas into the boxes took way too long and felt difficult compared to other tools. Kids would get marked wrong for what seemed like no good reason. The button placement and menu layout felt really awkward too. Honestly, the whole thing reminded me of those outdated systems from the early 90s. It definitely doesn't meet the standards I expect from modern math homework platforms.

“Perfect for College Academic Projects

Pros

I found WebAssign to be very easy to use and I can quickly find my assignments and due dates without any difficulty. Submitting work is not an issue and I've never experienced any technical glitches or performance issues.

Cons

Entering special symbols can be a pain since you have to manually select each one. Complex expressions with exponents, parentheses and subscripts are also tricky to type in.

“Easy to understand but Too Expensive

Pros

I can access everything very easily, i love how everything makes sense right away so you don't have to put in too much effort.

Cons

The price is on the higher side and I wish the trial period was extended so you could really test everything out properly.

“Tricky to use system with messy interface

Pros

Flexible platform that allows instructors to handpick exactly which questions they want to assign to students. The practice problems come with just enough guidance to help without giving everything away. It creates questions that blend different concepts together which helps students see how everything connects.

Cons

I find it tricky to use and it can feel pretty tedious when you're trying to work through assignments. Interface is messy and not particularly helpful overall. Having all the questions crammed onto a single screen gets overwhelming fast. Also the way it randomly generates different problems for each student makes things more complicated than they need to be.

“Its ease of use stands out

Pros

What stands out for me is its simplicity. The technology runs smoothly without any glitches or unexpected issues. It's incredibly user-friendly and I rarely come across problems when using the application.

Cons

The system crashes way too frequently which is really frustrating. There are so many different components that don't play nice with Mac OS and you really need a solid computer setup to avoid running into constant bugs and glitches.
