“Effective Tool if you use it right

Pros

Personally, the ability to slow down video clips is so cool and having subtitles available makes everything so much clearer. Being able to click directly on subtitle words to get instant definitions is incredibly helpful for learning new vocabulary.

Cons

Umm content quality varies quite a bit and I struggled to find videos that really engaged my students. The point scoring system also seemed inconsistent, sometimes the grades didn't match up with what I expected based on the actual work submitted.

Pros

The videos here are current and really relevant to what's happening now. I appreciate how it uses real language that students can actually relate to, which keeps them engaged. There are different difficulty levels available, so beginners can find something perfect for them while advanced learners have challenging content too. The captions are a nice touch for working on reading skills.

Cons

The speaking speed could use some adjustment options. While there are handy rewind and fast-forward controls plus captions that help alot, I'd really appreciate being able to slow things down when needed.
