Excellent for handling digital spare parts

Pros

AMFG makes it easy to manage spare parts digitally. I can quickly create and reorder a digital inventory which eliminates the need for physical stock. Also I appreciate the built-in quality documentation and traceability ensuring consistency across repeat orders. And the option to track production in real time and keep the team updated on job progress is a major benefit.

Cons

In some rare cases especially when workflows get more complicated or deviate from the standard process, the system does not always adjust well. So there is definitely room for improvement in how it handles less structured or unexpected scenarios.

Streamlines our quote management process

Pros

It has helped us quote more quickly and accurately. It simplifies the management of jobs and tracking in one place. Also the automation in it has allowed us to win more work. The integration with our website for instant quoting has been proven highly beneficial too.

Cons

The front-end design feels a bit outdated to me. So it would be great to see improvements especially for displaying and printing part details.

Loving it!

Pros

I really enjoy using AMFG because it helps us stay on top of production like never before. With live machine data we can make quick decisions, whether it is adjusting schedules, managing maintenance or keeping everything on track. Plus the insights we get from it let us spot potential issues before they happen making a big difference in our efficiency.

Cons

We have had some issues with extra features that do not feel fully integrated into the system. While the core process from ticket to quote to project works well, some of the other tools seem like afterthoughts rather than being fully integrated. It is not a dealbreaker but it does mean there is a small learning curve for certain tasks.

Helps with the quoting process

Pros

What I love most is how it makes quoting and order management so easy. Customers can request and receive quotes through an integrated online portal saving us time on a task that used to be both simple and time-consuming. The digital inventory for repeat orders is a game-changer and our clients really like it. On the back end the platform handles all order details and gives live progress updates which has improved client collaboration and built their trust by providing more transparency.

Cons

The pricing is relatively high but considering the number of features we do not use, it might still be justified for some businesses. We also run into bugs from time to time.

Ideal for high-volume production

Pros

It is great for handling high-volume, serial production while keeping part manufacturing consistent. We can set production parameters for parts, ensuring uniformity across our products. The scheduling feature gives us full visibility into our processes helping optimize machine usage and increase production capacity. Also I really like the live machine monitoring which provides insights into operations and supports data-driven decisions. The ordering portal is another major plus making it easier for customers to place orders quickly and helping us meet their growing demand for fast delivery.

Cons

Well the absence of order-level pricing makes it difficult for us to manage pricing on a per-order basis which is important for high-volume production environments. The customer management structure within AMFG also could use some improvements.
