“interface beginner-friendly with detailed help”
Pros
Right away, Ansys Fluent feels very approachable because the interface is highly beginner friendly. On top of that, nearly every button includes a help icon that opens a browser with a detailed explanation which makes learning and using the software much easier.
Cons
ability to convert a simulation file into a GUI is lacking.

“effective for designing structures”
Pros
It takes some time to learn but it's still one of the most effective and efficient tools available for designing or creating just about any type of structure.
Cons
The way the software is designed can make it a bit difficult to understand at first and harder to fully use all of its powerful features.

“Top cfd option with add-ons and flexibility”
Pros
From my perspective, this is the top option for CFD simulations. It comes with several add-ons that are incredibly useful for design work and product development. It also gives engineers and researchers a lot of flexibility with equations for flow, energy and turbulence, along with boundary conditions so simulations can be set up in a highly customizable way.
Cons
One part that I don't really enjoy is the file management. I've had a tough time locating saved files especially after the software crashes. Hopefully the latest updates from ANSYS will address these issues.

“Organized interface”
Pros
Coming from the heat transfer field, I've seen that this software provides a wide range of options for handling different thermal management methods. The interface is interactive and organized so moving through the available settings feels comfortable and the tutorial support is a big help for newcomers who are just getting started.
Cons
At times some of the underlying parameters that need adjustment to match experimental conditions can be rigid or behave unrealistically which causes the software results to drift away from the expected output for a given set of conditions.
