Pros
When you're dealing with complex manufacturing processes involving a large number of operations and tasks carried out by many people across different roles, this tool is extremely powerful. Without something like this, it would be very hard to manage everything while still getting accurate qualitative visual indicators and precise quantitative data on how well the manufacturing process is defined. The way it handles balancing the different parts of the process is very simple which helps make sure information doesn't get lost during reconfigurations. It also lets you generate an immediate report with the balancing results at every step. Another strong point is its versatility since you can choose the key variables that drive the process definition strategy, whether that's the number of workstations, takt time, cycle time, number of operators and more.
Cons
Following the logic of process definition, the tool should make it much easier to draw the process flow in a simple way, more like Visio and then automatically create the matching operations structure so it can later be customized within each operation and task. For multiproduct lines with a high level of variability, the configuration can become somewhat complicated so it would be helpful if there were a simpler way to set it up.

Pros
It's a user-friendly product that stands out for its flexibility and how well it integrates with other existing processes in the company. Its most valuable features are related to production process leveling and balancing. One tool that has been especially useful is the assistant for calculating fatigue coefficients which is based on ILO tables.
Cons
Haven't come across any confusing features or anything that clearly needs improvement.

“Centralized traceability and consistency”
Pros
A centralized database and solid control over change traceability make the platform very valuable. It's simple to use, supports multiple time-definition systems and helps keep documentation consistent across the board.
Cons
In our case the software needed fairly significant customization to match our requirements and that adaptation process took some time.
