CMPrO sucks

Pros

If used properly, it accurately tracks all buyers, sellers and their latest activity.

Cons

The software kept shutting down and didn't save my progress, which was frustrating.

Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO) Software

Pros

The standardization of screens make sure that all search, create and detail screen functionalities are the same. This makes the tool easier to train on. The setup of workflows allows for flexibility and complexity. The creators are responsive in updating the software based on user suggestions for improving the interface.

Cons

The workflow engine is very powerful, but setting up workflows can be time-consuming. However, this is mainly due to the complexity of our processes. The team has been available to answer questions, provide suggestions for structuring workflows and has been highly responsive to our suggestions for adding links and functionality to simplify and streamline the process of building complex workflows.

DOCCN and Workflows

Pros

I like the ease of operation that CMPRO offers. It's a large database with a lot to offer, and although I was initially intimidated, the more I work with the software, the more comfortable I become. As a configuration manager, CMPRO makes my job easier.

Cons

It's not necessarily a con, but there is a lot to learn with this software. However, I am up for the challenge and actually enjoy the learning process.

CMPRO DBA WITH LOTS OF TIME USING CMPRO

Pros

As a CMPRO DBA, I spend a lot of hours working with the software. Personally, I find it very easy to use, but I gave it 4 stars because some of my users disagree. In response, CMPRO is changing its user interface to make it easier for the average user to perform their tasks. One of the major pros of CMPRO is its excellent customer service. Whenever I need help, changes, explanations or training, the PSA team is there to assist me. I can report issues directly through the built-in issue reporting system, reaching our dedicated contact, or I can call them directly. The issue reporting system also allows regular users to submit their issues. The training for CMPRO is well-executed, with monthly online sessions offered by CMPRO trainers. The User's Guide within CMPRO is well-written and easy to navigate. The CMPROficiency website provides a lot of information and tutorials for various processes and general usage. The annual CMPROficiency training introduces users to new developments and facilitates connections with other CMPRO users to learn from their experiences. The software is continuously evolving, with improvements in the user interface, the addition of built-in forms that adhere to CM requirements and new privilege structures. Our group has even requested customized forms and the process has been easy, with excellent support throughout.

Cons

So far, I haven't encountered any problems. The software is working well.

The most robust CM tool I have ever used

Pros

In my experience, CMPRO is the most comprehensive end to end CM database. Its intelligent, process-driven workflows and dynamic asset associations drive efficiency in every aspect of the business.

Cons

None so far.
