Pros
Simulation takes much less time and the results are accurate which saves a huge amount of both time and cost.
Cons
More complex parts can take longer to process and sometimes the operation stops and I have to restart Creo.

“Smooth FEA inside Creo”
Pros
The biggest advantage that this software has is the fact that simulation is built right into the Creo design and modeling environment. As a mechanical designer, I can run simple structural FEA on a part immediately after modeling it, without dealing with much complexity. That convenience is exactly why it has become something I use almost every day at work.
Cons
My issue with Creo Simulate is that it still does not match the capabilities of standalone FEA solvers available on the market. When a part is subjected to more complex loading conditions, it becomes difficult to represent the real situation accurately in Creo Simulate. Because of that limitation, it is generally not viewed as an industry-acceptable FEA solver for more advanced analysis.

“powerful live simulation insights”
Pros
Running live simulations in it has been a big advantage for me. It lets me test how my designs behave in a virtual environment and see how they perform under different conditions and settings before anything is finalized. That makes it much easier to refine and optimize how the design functions. Because of this feature the software gives my team much deeper visibility into our designs than we had before.
Cons
One drawback to keep in mind with Creo Simulation is how complicated it is. Even though it includes some very useful capabilities, learning how to use all of the tools properly can be challenging. My team also finds the interface hard to use because there are so many menus and buttons. On top of that Creo Simulation works as a standalone software package so it does not integrate with other CAD or CAE tools. That can make the overall workflow feel more cumbersome and time-consuming.

“versatile cad”
Pros
Working with the CAD model and running simulations in the same tool is a big advantage. It supports simulations based on domain boundary conditions for thermal analysis, structural analysis and vibrational analysis which makes it very capable for engineering work.
Cons
There really are no major negatives to mention with this tool. If anything, it could be further optimized at the algorithm level for more advanced, high-end engineering applications but as an overall package it is very useful.

It's excellent because it gives users complete control over the design process. It works well for both direct and indirect study of a product and it makes the whole analysis process simple and efficient by letting you select a specific part for testing from the full assembled design.

“quick analysis for complex assemblies”
Pros
This can handle both linear and nonlinear studies really well and it makes the analysis process much faster by letting me choose a specific part for testing instead of working through the entire assembled design every time.
Cons
On larger projects, there is very little to complain about. The only minor downside is that assemblies take up more space so rendering can take a little longer.

PTC Creo Simulation stands out as one of the best tools in the industry. It's impressive how much control it gives users over their designs and that makes the whole process feel very capable and flexible. Another big plus is its compatibility with CAD files from other software since they can be opened directly without needing any conversions.
Cons
Something that could definitely be better is PTC Creo's customer support since responses are not as quick as they should be. It also falls short when it comes to handling large assembly files and that's a capability that really needs to be added.

“great CAD for oil design”
Pros
I work in the oil industry and using it has been working out great for me. It gives me everything I need to create designs and one of the things I enjoy most is being able to make changes in real time and instantly see those updates happen automatically. As a CAD solution, it feels ideal because it is the best one I have used. Out of all the software I have worked with, I honestly consider this simulation tool better especially because it includes options and capabilities that other programs simply do not offer.
Cons
The only downside is that it occasionally performs actions on its own without me triggering them which can be frustrating. It takes a long time for new users to get used to the software. It can be very hard to learn especially if you don't have much experience with simulation tools. Thats a big negative when you have to work with teams that have different levels of experience.
