Use of Enact for recording quality checks
Use of Enact for recording quality checks
Pros
During my previous job, I frequently utilized Enact throughout the day while working on production lines. I appreciated the seamless functionality it offered for planning my tasks, thanks to the countdown timers for all QC checks. This feature greatly facilitated prioritization and ensured that no QC checks were overlooked. Additionally, I found it incredibly convenient to access trend data, enabling me to make more informed and effective decisions based on the available data.
Cons
Due to its integration with SAP, any errors made within SAP have a direct impact on Enact. For instance, if there is an incorrect scheduled end time for a production run in SAP, it can hinder the user's ability to effectively utilize Enact. While I understand that this issue is primarily related to the training and discipline in using SAP rather than a flaw in the Enact software itself, it would be beneficial to have a workaround within Enact that allows QC checks to proceed smoothly even in the presence of SAP errors.
