“Fantastic support”
Pros
The customer service has been brilliant. The FourJaw team is always available whenever help is needed and the platform is very user friendly.
Cons
It doesn't currently show quality but this tool has made this a priority for an upcoming update.

“quick setup”
Pros
Getting everything up and running was quite simple and the installation process didn't take much effort. On top of that the customer support has been excellent whenever help was needed, whether during setup or while using the software.
Cons
A few of the dashboards still feel like they could use further development. That said since we started using the platform, they've already rolled out several updates and after speaking with FourJaw recently, it sounds like they have plenty more of them in the works.

“Live data and clear insights”
Pros
Having real time data feedback is a big plus and the live information makes the software genuinely useful day to day. It's pretty user friendly so getting what you need from it doesn't take much effort.
Cons
An area that could be better is the way the output is formatted. A lot of the table-based information comes through more like an Excel-style data dump and when filtering the data some of the details can be open to misinterpretation. That can make it harder for people who aren't already familiar with what they're looking at to fully understand the information.

“A gamechanger”
Pros
Easy to install and use with plenty of potential to support improvement projects focused on downtime.
Cons
One limitation is not being able to export the data in its raw form for deeper analysis.

“helped in bottleneck identification”
Pros
Downtime monitoring has helped us respond much faster when production issues come up. Since the data is captured directly from the machines, we can look at bottlenecks by section or individual machine shop more clearly. It has also made it easier to reallocate labour so we can better match machine capacity and output.
Cons
CBE+ adopted the product very early on, at a point when the dashboards were still being developed. Now that this feature is fully in place, it has become a very valuable tool for our shop floor.

“clearer insights”
Pros
Having this software gives me a real picture of what's actually causing downtime on our machines which makes it much easier to focus on the underlying issues instead of guessing.
Cons
Something we had noticed before was that all stoppage time was grouped together with stoppages over 5 minutes but the FourJaw team has since split that out.

“easy to use”
Pros
Getting this up and running across different CNC machines was quick and easy and it began delivering useful data in a short amount of time. At the start getting the manufacturing team fully engaged was a bit of a hurdle but regular communication with FourJaw's excellent support team really helped. They're clearly invested in making the project work well and be successful for you.
Cons
The tablets can be a bit slow for operators at times although that seems to be mainly caused by our own machine shop connectivity issues rather than the system itself.

“Useful software”
Pros
Using this product has been a great experience. It gives really valuable background information to support conversations about machine utilisation especially around the actual time the tools are cutting metal.
Cons
Because we worked closely with FourJaw during the development phase, the features we considered most useful have now been built into the current software package. The earlier hardware was more complicated to set up and needed FourJaw to handle the installation but it looks like the latest version of the hardware has addressed that issue. On top of that the FourJaw team usually responds fast and resolves problems quickly.

“FourJaw review”
Pros
Set up was very easy and it starts collecting data right away. It's simple to begin with a small setup and expand later when needed and the insights it gives are clear and easy to understand so you can actually see what's happening on the machines.
Cons
It does need a little tweaking to get the display fully working on some mobile phones although it sounds like that improvement is already on the way.

“outstanding support”
Pros
The support team has been excellent. Every question was handled quickly and efficiently and the whole process was very effortless. The data is laid out very clearly and has already helped us spot gaps and weak points in our manufacturing process that we can now address to improve profitability.
Cons
The only minor issue is that the app is not quite as user friendly on a mobile phone, specifically an iPhone, compared with using it on a tablet or desktop PC. It's a small annoyance though and aside from that it fits our needs perfectly.
