“A machining powerhouse”
Pros
Across production work, this software offers an excellent set of strategies for improving manufacturing processes. It covers pretty much everything needed in mechanical technology, including milling, turning, wire EDM, additive and more. The CAD platform is very good and, just like the CAM side, it's easy to use and built for people who need to generate toolpaths efficiently. Another big plus is the company's support team which is highly reliable and helps customers avoid downtime.
Cons
The CAD side is simple and user friendly but it's clearly not meant to be a design focused CAD system. It's built around the needs of the software's target users. Because of that, anyone who needs to carry out true design work may find it somewhat limiting.
