“A practical choice

Pros

The software is really easy to use and i like how it is web-based. However some of the hidden features are a bit tricky to use because they are buried deep in the system.

Cons

Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming. The layered structure is helpful, but having over 20 options on a single page means you'll probably end up using only the essentials and miss out on the software's full potential. I also find it a bit tricky at times to figure out what some of the functions actually do.

“Feels outdated

Pros

I don't have much positive to say about this one. Honestly you would probably get better results using a well organized Excel sheet with formulas.

Cons

JobPack feels overly complicated and is not very user-friendly. Also there is no option to prevent schedule changes that could potentially disrupt production and result in lost revenue. Plus I feel like it would be helpful if it suggested schedules based on the requirements as well as included job weightings.

“Excellent visual scheduler

Pros

Well I love the What-if scenarios, setting up work orders and the visual scheduling board. On top of that, the ability to dig deep and quickly pinpoint the reasons why a project is falling behind is pretty useful.

Cons

Collecting data takes a lot of time and making corrections is tedious. Also I noticed it is not possible to track man and machine time for workers operating on multiple machines. A lot of time is wasted opening and closing the system every time changes are made and programming new reports or altering existing ones takes a significant amount of effort.

“Customizable tool but limited production options

Pros

The scheduling tool is really adaptable and if we need further customization it can be tailored to fit our specific needs.

Cons

JobPack forces users to follow a process oriented approach for production which means both of our scheduling and production staff will need to shift from their old ways of working.

“Must have for future scheduling

Pros

It is pretty user friendly, accurate and easy to use. I really like their customer support as it is top-notch.

Cons

The data dictionary is mostly in German with only partial English translations which makes it tricky for us to map variables when generating reports.

“PERFECT tool and best company

Custom reports are a big plus and I find the customer service exceptional as well.

“Fair deal for the cost

Pros

One thing I like is that it stays focused on scheduling which makes it really efficient.

Cons

The software is not the easiest to navigate and I noticed that it also contains multiple spelling errors throughout the interface.

“Very close to perfection

Pros

It is quite flexible with a clear focus on scheduling. The customized data exchange between our ERP and JobPACK is good too. Also the training team is excellent, knows the product inside out and understands the manufacturing industry really well.
