“Helpful job visibility
Pros
Keeping up with the pace in the workshop has been much better with it. The drag-down chart keeps every job visible and makes it easier to adjust priorities as things change. Best of all I'm not constantly running back to the whiteboard anymore just to erase and move dots around faster.
Cons
One limitation with this tool is that it doesn't connect to the built-in accounting system I rely on for inventory tracking which reduces how effective it can be. That means I have to update stock numbers in two different places, creating extra work on my end. Ideally, those figures would sync automatically so the overall inventory updates right away whenever supplies go up or down.

“job shop control that delivers
Pros
Running a job shop with this software has been an amazing experience. It's built specifically for job shop manufacturing and it does a good job of handling the key parts of day-to-day operations. The software helps keep production scheduling, inventory management, job costing, purchasing, invoicing and accounting all organized in one place.
Cons
getting started can be challenging because the software may require major adjustments to current processes and workflows. That transition is not always simple for employees and Quick Jobshop also demands substantial training before staff can use it effectively.
