Polished user-interface

Pros

Its biggest strength is how easy it is to use and modify. The interface feels clean and simple so building and maintaining apps stays manageable even when the use case gets more complex. Integrating it with other systems has also been very smooth letting us connect devices and external services quickly without adding a lot of extra complexity.

Cons

A piece that could use some work is the way expressions are handled in triggers. It's powerful but it can also feel somewhat clunky and a smarter, more user-friendly way to build expressions would make complex logic much easier to handle. On top of that, Tulip Tables could be stronger, particularly when dealing with larger or more complicated datasets.

easy app development

Pros

Building applications with it is very easy for our teams and user-friendly which makes the development process much easier to manage.

Cons

The analytics charts feel quite limited and they don't offer the drill-down capability needed for deeper analysis.

Highly customizable platform

Pros

In our experience the platform is highly customizable and connects well with other tools through APIs. Customer support has also been consistently helpful whenever needed.

Cons

It would be better if it included a built-in batch record tool and the feature around table relationships still feels a bit limited.

quick issue resolution

Pros

One of the biggest strengths of this platform is how quickly it helps solve a problem. When someone needs a simple, fast answer to an ongoing headache, it really delivers. A good example is setting up a way to collect 5S or machine inspection reports without relying on Dropbox or having to walk the floor every day. In just a few hours, I can build the app, roll it out and train users on how to use it. That saves a huge amount of time, not just in dealing with the issue itself but also in how quickly a solution can be put in place.

Cons

There honestly isn't much to complain about. One thing that would make it even better is step-by-step YouTube tutorials although they already provide plenty of helpful information through the community, university courses and the knowledge hub.

Fast application creation

Pros

It is like a very flexible platform and one of the biggest advantages is how quickly I can build apps with it.

Cons

It still has some feature limitations at the moment although the system is continuing to grow and expand.

versatile digitalization platform

Pros

This product is very simple and built with end users in mind. It's a platform for creating applications that lets our teams deliver solutions quickly while still keeping things controlled and compliant. One of the biggest strengths is how many different use cases it can cover, from basic analytics screens to full app suites that support complex workflows. In organizations dealing with either greenfield or brownfield environments, it is a strong option for driving paperless digitalization initiatives.

Cons

As you get deeper into the platform, it naturally makes you want to expand what you do with it so expectations keep rising. After our first global rollouts, we've now hit a stage where we need stronger controls and additional features for full EBR-style use cases in life sciences. The good part is that Tulip already has these enhancements planned on its product roadmap.
