“The ultimate fundraising expert.
Pros
This platform is incredibly easy to use and set up, making your donation page look professional and user friendly.
Cons
Some features are not customizable and not all donor data is collected with every transaction due to the payment options donors choose.

“Nice for free but there's room for improvement.
Pros
It was free and simple to integrate into our sites. We were able to create donation pages and embed forms without any hassle.
Cons
I found it a bit difficult to run reports and the integration for our walk could have been smoother as it didn't allow everyone to access team information as easily.

“Free not always truly free
Pros
At first glance, this tool does much of what other similar platforms do. It's simple to set up on a basic level.
Cons
The event module is not worth the time. The text-to-donate feature limits donors to one donation and the Apple Pay feature froze, making it difficult for users, also the event module doesn't allow for easy guest list management, it's just a static spreadsheet. All in all, I wouldn't recommend using the event feature.

“Highly recommend Give Lively, it's fantastic!
Pros
I love how affordable it is and how easily it integrates with our website.
Cons
More customization options and automatic matching for company donations would be really helpful.

“The top free fundraising software out there
Pros
When I first heard about it, I could not believe it was free. It's great not to pay a monthly or annual fee for a fundraising product that allows text to give and supports peer to peer fundraising.
Cons
There are a few additional features I would like, like CRM integration or the ability to message from the platform. But considering it is free, I'm not really complaining.

“Is there a catch?
Pros
I have not used it yet and won't until I can find out how much the required Stripe.com account actually costs.
Cons
Your description of the platform is misleading. It's not free without a catch. Give Lively requires a Stripe account, which charges for each transaction. While Stripe offers a nonprofit discount, they don't disclose the exact rate until you set up an account. Give Lively's lack of transparency about this is frustrating.

“A payment platform that connects to your bank account
Pros
I like how easily this account can be linked to a donor's bank account and the donor pays fewer fees as a result.
Cons
Donors' contributions are automatically shown unless they opt out. Some people may not want their donation amounts visible and once it is posted, you can't change it.

“All non-profit should check out Give Lively
Pros
Give Lively offers so many great features, including text to donate, peer to peer fundraising and event ticketing. Their impact story campaign template is fantastic. The support team is amazing and even responds on weekends! The best part is that all these fundraising tools are available for free for qualifying nonprofits.
Cons
It lacks Double the Donation integration although they are working on it. Also they don't offer CNAME functionality, which other donation platforms do.

“Discover Give Lively asap
Pros
This donation software is perfect for our small non-profit. It's great that they only take a small percentage of donations and don't charge hefty annual fees. The donation campaigns you can create look great and it integrates easily with our website.
Cons
From our perspective, there is really nothing bad about this software. It does exactly what we need for our small non-profit and does not cost a lot.

“Fundraising made completely free!
Pros
There are no upfront costs, only the 2.2% Stripe fee. The customer support and account managers are dedicated to helping your non profit succeed. The system is simple but offers a wide range of features including embedded donation widgets and event ticketing software that can handle complex structures. We are excited to explore live donation projections and the text-to-donate feature.
Cons
Sometimes the lack of customization and flexibility is a downside. While they are making improvements, I wish I could remove the peer-to-peer and donate in honor buttons. They have potential but are too complicated for simple campaigns.
