“AutoCAD-like but printing needs improvement
Pros
Even though it has its own command structure, it supports AutoCAD commands as well, which is not something I've found with other CAD programs. So, if you have been using AutoCAD for years, you'll feel right at home here. It reminds me of AutoCAD from back in the 2000s which is all I really need. And until recently, it even had a free version which was amazing.
Cons
It's been a little buggy at times but the latest version is pretty stable. Printing to scale and getting the right line weights is not as simple as I'd like but I think that's just because it's a bit different from AutoCAD.

“good option for beginners
Pros
It uses a common interface and commands that almost any designer can pick up in a short amount of time. It was offered in a free version up until this year which made it an even better deal for anyone just starting out in design.
Cons
You have to re-register regularly to use the free version and some features are stripped down. You'd get access to everything with a paid license which is still way cheaper than other tools.

“poor customer support
Pros
Good software that works well and is easy to use especially since it's so similar to AutoCAD. I would definitely recommend it but the only downside is the lack of support which can be a little frustrating at times.
Cons
Terrible customer support. I bought a one-year subscription and renewed it, but after that, the program stopped working. Customer service was no help and just referred me to the website. I had a project in the middle and it cost me time and money. I am switching to AutoCAD LT now.

“Great entry point but lacks solutions
Pros
The main pro is.. of course, that it's free and it's really interactive to use. If you are just getting into design, it's a great entry point into the world of CAD. It's simple, accessible and a fantastic choice for beginners.
Cons
Like most free software, it lacks some solutions or the solutions it has are harder to use than they would be in paid software.

“free version support is bad
Pros
this is a really easy-to-use CAD software with many features that other CAD tools don't offer. One of the best things is its DWG compatibility and the PDF printer feature. It's one of the few CAD programs that has the PDF feature at such a low cost. The interface is also very similar to other leading CAD software. The free version is great for 2D CAD work and does a fantastic job at what it's designed to do.
Cons
Support for the free version is bad but if you get the PRO version, the support is excellent.
