Great fit for hotels

Pros

After comparing 10 different systems this turned out to be exactly the right choice for our hotel. It has all the features we actually need and the platform is very user friendly. The biggest highlight though is the customer support. Responses come quickly and they come from someone who truly understands the system. I'm very happy with the decision and would definitely recommend it.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about. The only thing I'd like is a little more visible status detail such as showing when a room is occupied but still unpaid. There is currently a $ sign for unpaid rooms but I'd prefer a color coded status instead. Still it's a very minor issue.

Pros

Features are simple to use and I've always preferred using this software because it feels very user friendly.

Fast booking workflow

Pros

Getting around it feels very simple and easy. It gives you the features you actually need without stuffing the system with unnecessary extras and it stays fast even as a cloud based platform.

Cons

The only thing I'm still hoping for is an integration with my favorite POS system called Poster.

capable and reliable

Pros

Normally it gets hectic real fast when running a front desk but the biggest advantage here is how simple this system is to use. It's quick to teach, quick to pick up and that matters a lot during peak season. The group booking tools are amazing especially how well it manages individual guests within a group making it easy to extend stays and take payment from each person separately. Our team genuinely enjoys working with it and they became confident with it very quickly which is essential when someone is handling reception alone. Support has also been outstanding with fast and clear replies whenever we need help. They're also very open to feedback and seem to implement good suggestions quickly when possible. Reporting is excellent and the interface stays nicely uncluttered which we really appreciate. Sending invoices, receipts and other emails is simple and no trouble at all. It also integrates very well with our channel manager. Overall if you want a PMS that delivers exactly what you need without loading it up with unnecessary extras this is a very solid choice and I'd absolutely recommend it.

Cons

Honestly no complaints. It has exactly what we need for a busy hostel.

reliable integrations and support

Pros

Back in the desktop days of 2003 we started working with their team and I honestly can't say enough positive things about them. The software delivers and if something isn't going to be reliable or solid the software simply doesn't roll it out. It connects perfectly with Vend and Xero and the integration paths are clean, secure and basically foolproof. Anytime we've run into issues including things like channel management with STAAH, their customer support has been incredibly helpful in getting everything sorted and guiding us toward the right decision for the business. It's an excellent system and one I would absolutely recommend.

good fit for holiday parks!

Pros

Running a holiday park means most guests are walk ins so we needed a POS integrated system that could handle check ins and check outs quickly without any trouble. Our old system was far too slow and it forced us to enter a strict set of details every time which wasted a lot of time. This software turned out to be exactly the right solution for us. It works really well with Vend, moves quickly between bookings and the main calendar and the calendar itself is very efficient and simple to use. Being able to see all of our bookings for the whole month ahead gives us a clear overall picture of what's coming up. The setup process was also great especially since it happened right before Christmas. The team were incredibly helpful and the transition couldn't have gone better!

secure web based booking fit!

Pros

Getting started with the software was simple and it didn't take long to learn how everything works. It's web based which makes it convenient to access and it feels secure as well. Another big plus is that it connects nicely with our existing channel manager.

Cons

The marketing features are a bit limited so there's not as much flexibility there as I'd like.

stylish and customizable hotel fit

Pros

Running a 20 room boutique hotel this product has been a really good match for us. It didn't take long to learn and using it day to day feels very simple. We moved over from Clarity and the simplicity of this one was honestly a huge relief. It didn't take long to see that we could pull all the same reports and statistics we rely on for our daily operations. The team has also been friendly and helpful whenever needed. Other than that the interface looks modern and stylish and there's plenty of customization available which has been a big plus.

Cons

A few features we still need aren't built in yet although we've managed to work around them. The biggest gap for us is split folios on a booking. Quite often the room charge is billed back to an agent or processed on a virtual card while the guest still needs to cover incidentals. To give the guest an invoice without exposing the agent's net rate we currently have to zero out the room rate first and then add it back in afterward.
