“Gets the job done!

Pros

The interface is easy to use and the thing I like the most is that it provides easy access to competing products.

Cons

We are still getting familiar with the system so it has taking some time to fully blend into our daily work.

Not only has it been updated weekly but the good thing is that we get to see information in real time.

No complaints to share from our side as it is easy to use and everything is laid out in a way that makes sense.

I am new to using Apartment IQ but I really like that all the information I need is in one place. Also I like that our local competitor data is automatically uploaded into Apartment IQ. Plus there are several helpful reports I can run too.

Cons

For now I have not used it long enough to notice any downsides yet. As it is pretty user friendly though learning where everything is takes a little time.

“Fairly easy to use

Pros

ApartmentIQ has made it very convenient to find all the information I need for my market surveys. I especially like that I can customize the Property Summary to suit the specific parameters that are most relevant to my work.

Cons

Wish I could pull deeper info on properties in my set of comps. Since I am in a smaller market even distant places pull similar traffic so I still end up manually checking them.

My favorite feature of ApartmentIQ is the updated market rents for my competitors.

There is nothing I dislike really but I do wish I could view more competitors though I know that's controlled by my company.

The platform is user friendly and I really love the email updates. As they give me a clear idea of how much progress has been made.

No complaints at all form our side as it is packed with great features.

It is really easy to use and edit comps. Also everything is very well displayed in one place which makes it even more user friendly.

Some of the numbers do not always match up. I have called comps and found different stats than what is shown in the software.

ApartmentIQ interface is quite user friendly and the ability to quickly sort through data is something I like the most.

Not being able to pull historical data on a monthly basis is a bit of a letdown to me.

“A perfect fit for our company

Pros

It is great for our company and property managers. It helps us analyze the market and get a clearer picture of what nearby competitors are charging, along with the fees for their properties. I especially love the reporting feature which is useful for scheduling reports and sending them out to our property teams.

Cons

I feel like having a feature focused on affordable housing would be awesome. Plus when I try to check studio rent comparisons, the results are not filtered properly. Also customer support can take a while to respond.

Pros

Not only is it easy to use but it is also fast to gather data and changes are reflected quickly. Also I enjoy the new enhancement that shows the product marketed versus leased out of market on the dashboard.

Cons

Concessions are not quite clear and I find it hard to filter out affordable or MFTE listings.

ApartmentIQ makes checking competitor info so much easier for us without needing to call each one individually.

It is a well designed platform with a clean interface which makes it simple to navigate and also makes it easy for us to access important property data that too quickly.

I really like being able to give feedback here. Also it would be awesome if I could log in and manually update stuff like occupancy, tours or leasing data for my property. Also the Tours and Leases part in the survey is a bit off as it says Applications and Leases but in our world, applications and leases are pretty much the same thing. Tours and Leases would make more sense.

“Much better than any other competitors

ApartmentIQI gathers all the data for us. As in the past, calling all the competitors and collecting that information used to take a lot of time but now we are able to do it pretty easily. Also I enjoy the auto-email reporting feature.

I would like more flexibility with reports. Right now they just get auto-emailed but it would be nice to change the date ranges myself.

It is a fast and easy way to get competitive data on property comps. Plus the constant updates and enhancements are great and I must say their customer service is quite amazing too.

Sometimes it takes a while for the data to catch up so yes let me tell you that it is not always spot-on.

Yesterday I worked on owner reports and discussed the occupancy of comps. Sometimes it is hard to get the numbers or answers from other communities but with ApartmentIQ, I can easily search and pull up their information. I use this tool at least once a week!

Cons

Well I prefer using it over other tools. As it is just very user friendly.
