“It simplified lease accounting
Pros
Our private equity firm manages 13 operating companies and over 200 leases and subleases in multiple currencies. Before that ,we tracked everything manually in Excel, which was frustrating and time-consuming. Black Owl software streamlined all our processes, eliminating the spreadsheet hassle and freeing up time during month end and quarter end. The support during implementation was excellent and the ongoing customer service has impressed us as well. The software looks great, feels intuitive and creating new leases is quick and easy, also the push button reporting has simplified our financial disclosures significantly. As the software administrator, I appreciate how easy it is to add companies and update master data. Overall we are very happy with Black Owl and would recommend it to anyone dealing with challenges from the new leasing standards.
Cons
So far, we have not seen any downsides with the Black Owl software or their team.

“Quality services from Black Owl
Pros
Black Owl team communication was incredible, from executives to consultants, it was so smooth and timely. Any features demonstrated were either available out of the box or quickly addressed upon our requests during implementation.
Cons
We currently use Black Owl Leasing separately from our ERP system, with plans to fully integrate it into JD Edwards. Until then, we still handle manual journal entries.
