Clear cloud pms upgrade

Pros

After using the basic version of the software we felt it was the right time to move to a cloud-based PMS. We researched the options, shortlisted three other cloud systems and added this to the comparison. In the end we chose this one because it matched the key requirements we had set for our new PMS: a front desk screen that is clear and simple while still showing enough information without feeling cluttered, easy use and training for new staff, reports that support rate and management decisions and a team that is helpful and responsive to work with.

Cons

Honestly no cons at this point. The integration went well because they supported us through every step of transferring our existing data. Any special requests (such as adapting the hotel registration card to meet UK legislation) were handled well for us.

complete features and strong value

Pros

Compared with other options I've seen this one really stands out for having a truly complete feature set. The interface makes daily work quick and flexible so it's easy to get things done without extra trouble. It also feels like good value for the money since it covers everything I need in one system. On top of that customer support is responsive and the Yield Manager feature helps me optimize pricing and bring in more revenue for my property.

Cons

There are less expensive alternatives on the market but in my view they're not really comparable because they usually come with fewer features and weaker support.

A training heavy nightmare

Pros

On paper this software can handle a lot. It lets you run hotel operations, spa services and restaurant management all in one system and it is capable of doing those things. Just expect to spend a lot on staff training and to be in touch with support several times every week.

Cons

Risk of making mistakes is incredibly high. Without extensive training this is not a system you can just pick up as you go. It also behaves differently depending on where you access something like an invoice. The workflow changes based on where the invoice is opened which makes it unbelievably inconvenient. And if someone wanted software with loopholes that could support money laundering or other accounting fraud this would be the one.
