Provides high-quality service

Pros

Inn Style platform is really easy to use for managing channels. Also it provided excellent guidance when we first started running our guesthouse. The service is also very personal with quick and responsive replies to queries. Even outside office hours we received support for urgent matters. They are always improving the service and adding new features.

Cons

I cannot think of anything to mention for this category.

Really good for booking

Pros

It is beautifully designed and simple to navigate. Visually it is one of the most well-crafted reservation systems available today. Coming from an older system like SuperControl I really liked features like drag and drop. At first I overcomplicated things just because I was not used to such an intuitive system. But with a few tweaks I believe this will be the best reservation system out there.

Cons

This is where things start to get a bit tricky. While the system looks polished on the surface it feels a bit clunky until you have spent some real time using it. A few things stood out like there is no built-in way to calculate deposits for phone or in-person bookings as you have to do it manually and send a payment link yourself unless the guest books online. The CRM side is lacking too. You cannot send emails directly from the system, apart from basic confirmations which means using your own email and losing the booking history trail. Also there is no support for custom emails or letters as just the default ones sent at fixed times. Plus want to send a pre-checkout message? Well let me tell you that you cannot. Reporting is pretty limited as well. And there is no simple way to check room type occupancy, year over year trends or where guests are coming from. Even for basic revenue tracking, you have to export a CSV and crunch the numbers yourself. So if they could smooth out these rough edges, this platform could easily become a top-tier solution.

Found the one I was looking for

Pros

The system is easy to use and logical. Problems are rare and when they do occur, they are resolved quickly and efficiently. Also excellent customer support was one of the main reasons I switched to Inn Style as they offered support when others didn't. However since it is more user friendly than most systems I find I need much less support now. So I would highly recommend it to small hotels, guesthouses and B&Bs.

Cons

The system works great for us with no real issues. The only small thing is that when searching for customers, it is a bit too strict if rules like no check-ins or minimum nights are set as it would be nice if it handled those searches a little more flexibly.

Can't imagine working without it

Pros

It is very easy to use and works flawlessly. Overall it definitely makes my job a lot simpler.

Cons

There is nothing I dislike about it other than the fact that my computer at home does not have it.

Still figuring out this one

Pros

This system has way better features than our old PMS. Plus we have noticed some really solid upgrades that make a big difference.

Cons

Well the inability to move online bookings to different room types is a bit restrictive. Plus the room price calculator is also not great as the total booking price needs to be manually inputted and if a room checks out early, it still shows as having a debt even if there is no outstanding balance.
