“Helpful, but a bit slow
Pros
I have been using LeaseAccelerator for a while now and honestly, I cannot say enough good things. The interface is incredibly userfriendly, which makes it easy to find everything I need. It's also packed with helpful guides and tips throughout, which really helped me get up to speed quickly. One of the best things about it is how it keeps all my lease records up to date so I feel in control and can easily track everything.
Cons
It is quite slow, which is a significant drawback. Even simple tasks take an unusually long time to complete, making the software frustrating to use and impacting productivity.

“Easy but not sure why they calculate stuff this way
Pros
The "Ask Alex" feature is such a game-changer for me. It's super easy to use and it's got so many resources that have helped me solve problems on my own.
Cons
Setup process was confusing and VACO didn't provide much help. They generated entries without offering any explanation, which made it difficult to understand the reasoning or calculations behind them.

Pros
I really appreciate how clean and organized the website design is. It's visually appealing and easy to navigate, making my experience so much smoother and also It doesn't feel cluttered, that's such a big plus for me.
Cons
Updating leases is difficult due to unclear instructions. It takes much longer than it should to update any information in the system.

“Super quick support team
Pros
I ran into an issue with uploading leases recently but I have to say, the support team was fantastic. They responded right away and were able to provide a solution quickly.
Cons
The report generation process takes a long time and the files are too large to easily share via email, making it inconvenient to send them to the support team or others.

“Good idea, but lots of bugs
Pros
Overall I love the product. It holds a lot of valuable information. The one downside, though, is that there are not a ton of training resources built into the software itself and it doesn't allow for credits. As a result, we end up doing a lot of manual steps, which can be a little frustrating.
Cons
Ask Alex button is positioned poorly. It blocks the OK or Save buttons so you have to minimize the screen to proceed. This becomes time-consuming, especially when we are processing several payments.

Pros
LeaseAccelerator really streamlines the lease accounting process for us. It's robust and integrates seamlessly with our existing financial systems. I also love how it handles policy elections and data elements so there's no need for manual calculations anymore. We have been able to automate many manual controls, which has saved us so much time.
Cons
Translating lease events into uploadable data sheets is a complicated and tedious process.

“gets the work done
Pros
The user interface for viewing deal summaries is one of my favorite features. It's really easy to see everything at a glance like it start dates, payment schedules, lease statuses and more. The reporting options are vast and the templates for importing and modifying data are incredibly helpful. It's one of the most intuitive systems I have used.
Cons
A community forum would be a great addition, where users could ask questions and get responses from both LAS staff and other users. Customer support could be more efficient currently the majority of responses come through email but a phone call or live chat would help speed things up. The time zone difference is also an issue.

“Simple and easy lease accounting system
Pros
I have found that it has made accounting for leases under ASC 842 so much easier. The export feature is fantastic, as it takes care of all the entries for you. I also love being able to see all of our lease information in one place and it's great that others in our team can access it for quick inquiries. The customer support team is fast and always helpful and "Ask Alex" has been a lifesaver, it helps me find quick solutions and providing tutorials for any issues I face.
Cons
Sometimes a release changes details in an existing lease, causing extra work to correct the errors. Renewals also occasionally don't work as expected but this usually has to do with the timing of the renewal process.

“Great platform
Pros
"Ask Alex" has been a great resource, especially since I'm new to using LeaseAccelerator. It's saved me a ton of time by allowing me to find answers to my questions without bothering my colleagues. I also went through the Center of Excellence training and it was incredibly helpful, I learned so much about the platform and how to use it effectively.
Cons
In my external reporting role, I frequently assist the global team and help generate reports for audits. However generating populations of leases or other reports often takes a long time and sometimes the system times out, forcing me to restart the process.

Pros
One of the best things about LeaseAccelerator is the ability to use multiple ledgers. This is especially helpful since we report under both US GAAP and IFRS. The training materials and videos are fantastic and they really help me get a better understanding of the software's capabilities.
Cons
It is quite difficult to navigate at times and asks for excessive amounts of information that can overwhelm users. The �Build Your Own Reports� feature sounds promising but is difficult to use and doesn't always function properly.

“Easy to use with amazing support
Pros
This software is really easy to use and there's a ton of useful guides and videos available for new employees. The customer support has been top notch, whenever I had a question or an issue, they have been quick to respond and help me out.
Cons
Resolving support cases often takes longer than expected, especially from the time a case is submitted to when it's fully resolved.

“It's a bit tricky to use
Pros
I don't find it very user-friendly, to be honest. Looking at it, I can't imagine how someone could figure it out without a lot of help because it's definitely not as user friendly as I had hoped.
Cons
The software is far too complicated and entering new leases is a struggle. The processing time is also slow, making it an inefficient tool.
