Pros

For me, it's not worth investing time or money.

LeaseCrunch Review

Pros

I found it impressive how effortlessly I could maneuver through the software and customize it to suit my exact requirements. The interface is really intuitive and simple to understand.

Cons

Best product to assist in our implementation of the new Lease Accounting rule

Pros

As we began integrating the software at our Credit Union, we discovered it was quite uncomplicated during the trial period.

Cons

I'm not sure how to account for or where to input rent abatements, but the support team can assist with this.

Quick to Implement, Easy to Use, Support when Needed

Pros

This software simplifies entering lease data without needing deep knowledge of ASC 842. It guides you through the process of inputting and categorizing lease terms, even calculating necessary adjusting entries. In our research, LeaseCrunch stood out due to its uncomplicated workflow, faster implementation (other options quoted up to six months for gathering lease info), and comprehensive Help documentation. Their team of accountants and CPAs is also a valuable resource for addressing unique scenarios. Overall, we're very pleased with the product.

Cons

I have no issues; we have been very satisfied with the software so far.

Lease Crunch - Great Value for the Money

Pros

The software simplifies lease setup and generates Excel reports that are easily customizable. Automating monthly Journal Entries has saved me considerable time compared to my previous methods.

Cons

I can't generate reports that resemble a monthly Trial Balance to reconcile balances with my financial software.

This product is a blessing

Pros

Ease of use is coupled with high-quality schedules and detailed footnote capabilities. Additionally, the software's ability to switch between ASC 842 and IFRS is invaluable for our international operations.

Cons

There is nothing I would change; we have been completely satisfied with this product.

Auto Leasing

Pros

This product has dramatically reduced the time required for monthly lease calculations. As a construction company managing around 150 vehicles leased, previously tracked on Excel, LeaseCrunch has made reporting much more manageable and accurate.

Cons

I haven't thought of any upgrades that I would want to be implemented at this time.

Overall okay - needs more updates to make it more useful than just using Excel

Pros

In general, LeaseCrunch has proven to be easy to use. Adding new leases is a breeze, and the GL Journal Entry export feature is incredibly handy.

Cons

The filtering on the "My Leases" screen needs improvement. It would be beneficial to create a saved custom view where I can choose which columns to display and only set it up once. LeaseCrunch lacks a "delete" option for reporting entities or leases. During a lease term, there might be an amendment, and there should be a field to incorporate amendment terms into the lease. Also, at the end of a lease term, leases are often renewed, requiring the entry of new term information. It would be helpful to document the history of the lease to track changes from the original to amendments to renewal, if applicable. Updating the application date for a reporting entity should be easier than it is now. It would be great to make bulk changes.
