Customized fit for venue operations

Pros

Running a large venue with 26 function rooms means we need something very specific and this system has been built around exactly what we require. It gives us the features needed to create accurate, detailed contracts, function sheets and reports for different departments at different levels. The EPOS integration is a big improvement over systems we used before making event delivery and billing much more easy. It also lets us export data at different levels of detail for database analysis and mailshots. Other than that the software was specially adapted for our large Christmas Party market so we can now make individual bookings with unique ticket numbers, track payments, send confirmations to clients and generate reports for the full evening based on booked attendees. The whole process is far more organized now and it has allowed us to handle Christmas bookings of over 5,500 covers completely paperless.

Cons

The forecast reporting is still not as accurate as we would want and there is no option to report NET value. It would also be helpful if more reports could be exported into Excel although the system can be developed further if needed.

mobile friendly membership integration

Pros

Bringing our hotel operations into the membership system has made a real difference especially because members can now look more closely at how they use the club. New features keep getting added and the range of web apps is genuinely useful with mobile access working well too.

Cons

There are a few specific reports I need that can't be produced as a single report. That said this is really down to the way we use the system rather than a fault with the software itself.

Great club membership fit

Pros

Built with membership based clubs in mind this product really fits that environment well. Training new users is easy and the system itself is simple to work with day to day. The support team and training provided have been excellent and the pricing offers solid value both upfront and in the yearly costs. It's also reassuring to see the product continue to evolve in response to customer needs and changing requirements.

Cons

An area that still needs improvement is reporting. Compared with some other systems available it would be much better to have more export options especially Excel rather than relying mainly on PDF.

Reliable system

Pros

Everything runs reliably and the software is very user friendly. The support team is excellent and approachable and whenever questions or issues come up they are usually handled quickly and efficiently. It's also really useful that many of the reports can be exported to Excel.

Cons

One downside is that updates can take quite a while to be implemented. Also we're probably not making full use of the reporting features mainly because we're not fully aware of everything those tools can do.

Amazing all in one hotel setup

Pros

Right from the start the system feels very user friendly with a layout that's logical and well organized. The online booking tool is fully built into the website and updates the server instantly whenever a new reservation comes in. The occupancy charts are clear and easy to read which makes daily operations much easier. The Food & Beverage and POS side is also fully integrated and the back end is simple to access when adding or removing products. It's well structured especially with parent items when using the stock add on and it also includes useful stock taking and product audit features. Apart from this there are server cards, timekeeping, separate staff logins and even a fully integrated sales and marketing suite.

Cons

At times moving between the POS and the Hotel System on the terminals can be a little slow but it's only a minor annoyance.

good club wide sales tracking

Pros

Across the club this system works well for every outlet including accommodation, dining rooms and banqueting which makes it really useful to have everything connected in one place. It gives quick and accurate sales figures across the whole club and that's been a huge advantage. The customer service is also excellent! You get responses very quickly and they're always friendly and helpful!

Cons

Something that slows us down is pricing updates. If the price of an item changes it has to be updated again in every individual outlet which can be time consuming and it's easy to miss a department. Member payments could also be a bit more organized since processing them currently requires making two separate payments.

quick learning

Pros

It is very easy to use and understand. It never feels overly complicated and when training new staff members they usually get comfortable with it very quickly. The office support team is excellent as well always ready with a solution whenever there's a problem and available 24/7.

Cons

I have nothing negative to mention for now.

trusted partner for hotel operations

Pros

We've been working with this company for a very long time and have used their hotel software since the late 1980s. Throughout that relationship they've consistently made us feel like a valued customer and they've been very responsive when it comes to developing new products as our business has expanded over the years. This software isn't overly complicated which helps new staff get up to speed quickly and settle into the team without much difficulty. Their customer support is very strong as well and they clearly understands our business and how to help us get the most value out of the software.

Cons

There is a continuing list of enhancements we're reviewing with them and from time to time some of those requests can take a while to be finished. There are also a few functional limitations that make it harder to customise the software exactly to our needs although that may partly reflect the complexity of our business.

Versatile club management system

Pros

It fits clubs of every size and works well across all areas. The EPOS terminals are easy, practical and simple to update and use.

Cons

As with any software there's some difficulty at the beginning. I went through that about 16 years ago and these days I just pick up the new upgrades as they come along.

club operations transformed brilliantly

Pros

This software now sits at the center of everything our Club does. We use it across our Point of Sale terminals, the events calendar and of course full membership management. It has genuinely changed the way the business runs day to day making us much more efficient and helping us deliver an even better service to our members. The online member area is especially impressive. It gives members an easy portal where they can handle their membership themselves whether that's paying bills, updating their information or booking Club events.

Cons

Very user friendly overall but because it is such a wide ranging product there are times when certain functions can be hard to find if you have not used them in a while. That said this is helped considerably by a very dependable support team.
