Service team isn't great

Pros

Compared to other property management software I would say Boston Post is pretty affordable.

Cons

Even tasks that should be simple feel complicated or badly organized. Also let me tell you the customer service is pretty bad too except for one person who stands out.

Great at organizing funding

Pros

Boston Post handles the complexities of affordable housing, like agency, investor and accounting requirements really well. Plus the flexible role-based access makes it easy to control who does what in our company which is very helpful.

Cons

No software is perfect or has all the answers but I must say MRI Boston Post really tries to listen and fix issues as they come up.

Happy with it so far

Pros

As a manager this is the best software I have used. What I love most are the reports as I can generate almost any report I need which saves me a lot of time. Also updates run smoothly without disrupting daily work and are reviewed before they go live. I use a different program for another property that lacks features like invoice history, resident profiles and has limited reporting, so the difference is clear.

Cons

My main complaint is how time consuming it is to close work orders.

Pros

What I like the most are the icons and shortcuts that make navigation through the software really simple.

Cons

Closing work orders can get a bit dull and repetitive at times. And yes we definitely need a simpler and clearer process.
