Efficient reports and invoicing

Pros

Using it day to day has been quite convenient especially when it comes to reports, invoicing and daily banking. Those features are easy and make regular tasks much easier to manage.

Cons

A few areas still feel a bit underdeveloped particularly supplier related functions, reversing supplier transactions and handling direct debits.

inspection date changes work beautifully

Pros

Being able to change inspection dates during the process is really helpful and the system is very user friendly when moving from the iPad to the main platform.

Cons

The adjustment to a web based setup has taken a little time especially remembering not to close everything out or click away to another website and then forget to reopen the page :)

tidier statements and clear payouts

Pros

Compared with other systems like Console this one is quite easy to use. Payouts are clear and the option to reload CSV files and reprint remittances is really useful. The ability to reverse and hide transactions helps keep landlord statements much tidier and being able to edit transaction comments through the history is an extra helpful touch.

Cons

It can be a little temperamental at times and will occasionally drop transaction batches while processing which seems to happen more in the afternoon. Because of that it's safer to enter and process one page of a bank statement at a time which is still fairly manual. The comments field not clearing after entering a receipt is frustrating if you forget to remove it yourself and I've already suggested that as something to fix. The arrears reports also take a while to get your head around and we had quite a few issues with the phone apps initially since being designed around phones rather than iPads brings some limitations.

Pros

It really takes the trouble out of keeping our books organized and tidy.

Cons

One issue we keep running into is landlords saying they can't read the statements. I'm not really sure why because they seem simple enough but we still get a lot of complaints about them.
