Poor customer support

Pros

I don't have any positive experience with this tool to write here.

Cons

I'm in an Anchor property and they use Plentific for repairs. Work needs to be carried out in my supervision and I had clearly said nobody should be sent before 10:00 because I'm disabled and need time to get moving which Anchor had already passed on to them. Even so, they issued one work order for Wednesday from 07:30 to 19:25, another for that same Wednesday from 08:52 to 14:46, then more for Thursday from 08:52 to 10:52 and Friday from 08:24 to 12:44. The whole thing looks like it was generated without any real human input and I honestly don't understand what they were trying to achieve by spreading it across three different days. When Anchor's estate manager here tried to get some clarity, emails were ignored and nobody would answer the phone in the afternoon. To make it worse, Plentific's responder kept interrupting her. I wasn't even given a phone number to use if I had questions. This was nothing like the level of service that had been promised.

constant payment issues

Pros

My experience has not been positive in any way.

Cons

This has been one of the worst platforms I've had to work with. Internal payment problems keep happening and they rarely communicate them properly which leaves you stuck with a backlog of invoices and no idea when or if you'll actually be paid. It happens far too often. I'm already planning to move away from it. Stay away if you want to run a business and have any confidence about when payments will come through.

Positive experience

Pros

Joining this platform has had a genuinely positive impact on how we work day to day. The platform gives contractors direct access to a marketplace that used to be much harder to break into which has opened up a lot more opportunities for us. A big part of what makes it work so well is the team behind it they're professional, well-trained and always proactive when support is needed. Their continued guidance has helped us get the most out of the platform's features which has led to quicker turnaround times and consistently strong results. The interface is also very user-friendly and it cuts out many of the usual communication issues between clients and contractors. Everything is laid out clearly so there's less back and forth, fewer delays and better efficiency overall. That has made a noticeable difference for tenants too, with a repair process that feels much more responsive and smooth. Overall Plentific has really changed the way we operate for the better. It's a smart, modern solution and we're genuinely pleased to be part of where it's heading.

useful platform for contractors

Pros

As a contractor it has been a really amazing platform for our work. It's simple to submit tenders for jobs and dealing with customers through the system is pretty convenient as well.

Cons

One drawback is that when I joined plentific more than 4 years ago, the process of quoting, winning work and invoicing was much simpler. Since then, it has become a lot more difficult to secure jobs because more contractors are now able to tender. When I first started, only 5 contractors could bid on a job but now I believe that number has increased to 12 which brings the chances of winning down to under 10%. I'd really like to see that reviewed because preparing quotes takes a lot of time and doesn't feel cost-effective when the odds of winning the work are so low.

lucrative platform that delivers

Pros

I have been using this platform more than 4 years now and I can honestly say it has made a huge difference for us. The platform feels genuinely innovative and sets itself apart from others, creating a smooth and profitable experience overall. It's also very easy to use if you stick to the process and follow the rules, the earning potential is definitely boosted naturally after all this.

Cons

The only small issue we've run into is with some clients who use SOR codes, as those jobs do not always cover the full cost. That said it's still fairly manageable since you have the freedom to decide whether or not to take on SOR-coded work.

good for starting out

Pros

It's been decent platform forme when it comes to finding work especially when I was just getting started/

Cons

There's constant undercutting so I've had to slash my prices a lot compared with when I first joined. I still pick up some work through it though.
