Avoid them as they don't value customers

Pros

Some of the reps are really good as they show care but unfortunately most just don't.

Cons

There is a lot of redundancy and many vendors won't actually use the workflows. Plus residents who are not comfortable online won't be able to use it which ends up doubling the workload for the our company.

Pretty useful to follow all your work and projects

Pros

When I was working as a vendor this app made it possible to chat with customers without sharing my personal contact details.

Cons

I noticed that at times the chat feature works too slow.

Proven to be a true lifesaver for our company

Pros

We were struggling before we started using Property Meld for service tickets. Within a month our team managed to handle three times as many tickets as before. Our tenants are happier, vendors are pleased and the service coordinators are not overwhelmed anymore.

Cons

The rollout had some bumps but the customer service team stepped in and helped us get everything back on track.

It totally transformed our maintenance team for the better

Pros

The support here is the best. The sales, onboarding and accounting teams collaborated with us to create a custom launch schedule after our company delayed the release. When we had a sync error sending expenditures back to Buildium, I just used live chat and someone joined a Zoom call for over two hours to help us fix the issue immediately.

Cons

Well the downsides are also what make it great. It is a complex system with lots of features so it takes some time to get the hang of it. I am excited to see how powerful it gets after our team spends a year learning to use it well.

Leading software for maintenance needs

Pros

The customer service is outstanding and we found it easy to set up. The transition went very smoothly and the maintenance techs working on-site really love it.

Cons

I would like to see some changes in the notifications side of settings as it does not work the best for now.

Used to really like MELD but the new update changed that

Pros

I like that repairs are kept separate from other issues which makes it a one stop solution. The multi-chat feature is great too. Overall I used to really enjoy Meld before this latest update.

Cons

The new Meld experience was not good as it feels to me that it is really poorly designed.

Absolutely the BEST

Pros

This new rollout is quite different but still easy to learn and use. I was able to understand the changes within a reasonable time.

Cons

A lot of changes have been made that increase the learning curve and the pricing for reports seems a bit steep to me.

Simple and user-friendly

Pros

Property Meld works well with Propertyware and lets us see exactly where our technicians are and what they have done in real time. Before we had to wait for paper slips to come back.

Cons

Not all of our tenants are using Meld yet. We are working on training our current residents on the new system. But the good thing is that customer support gave us some useful resources to share with our staff and tenants.

Not compatible with AppFolio

Pros

Being able to send several estimates and setting deadlines for vendors to accept work orders is a great feature as it has proven very useful for us.

Cons

The thing I did not like is that it does not work smoothly with AppFolio.

Not friendly at all

Pros

I don't have much to say but one thing that it is pretty easy to complete some of the forms.

Cons

The schedule gets approved before the work order does. By the time the work order is approved, my personal schedule has already changed. Also it did not give me the final approval. The result of it is that uploading before and after pictures is a pain since it won't let me upload good quality photos. So it feels impersonal. Maybe it works for lazy landlords but for vendors like me trying to support my family and keep on schedule, it is a real hassle.

Customer support was extremely poor

Pros

Nothing really works for us on this platform.

Cons

Everyone be it vendors, owners or tenants all have to create accounts outside of your property management software. Asking vendors to do that is just too much, so considering this we come to the conclusion that it is not for us.

Worst support I have ever dealt with

Pros

Our entire experience has been awful. There is no way to reach customer support.

Cons

I never even set up the product but they charged me anyway. They did not try to fix the issue and I never got a refund. I reached out to customer support multiple times but got no response.

Very disappointing and seems shady

Pros

The concept behind this software seems perfect but it lacks the necessary functionality. It might work well for small property management companies but I would say it is not a good choice for larger ones, especially when better options exist.

Cons

We were promised during sales that we could use the in-house maintenance features and have them sync with our Buildium billing. But that's not the case at all right now. You have to manually create invoices if you use the in-house side. On the vendor side invoices sync but not accounting categories so you still have to update every billing manually in Buildium. With a team of 12 full-time techs, switching would have meant hiring another admin to handle the extra manual billing work. Plus the Property Meld staff seemed more focused on closing the sale than making sure the software actually fit our needs.

Helps me get things done faster

Pros

It lets tenants report problems any time of day and vendors can schedule repairs directly with them. That means we don't have to be stuck in the middle with endless calls and emails which saves a lot of time.

Cons

So far things are going well for us. No regrets yet.

Packed with great features

Pros

I really like how quickly I can share info and communicate instantly with our vendors and property owners.

Cons

Vendors can complete and close out melds but there is no good back button feature. I can't easily move between pages and have to click through different links manually which makes it harder to use. So it'd be great to have more status options added.
