Pros
Rentroom has been a lifesaver for my younger tenant demographic. It simplifies rent payments for them while my partner and I can effortlessly track collections and receive lease renewal reminders. Since adopting Rentroom, I havenot experienced any vacancies.
Cons
Honestly, I don't have any complaints. Rentroom has been able to provide everything I needed from technology and more.

“Next generation property management software!”
Pros
The maintenance tracking feature is excellent. Tenants can submit requests through the app and the maintenance team can access them from their phones and add notes. Additionally Rentroom offers online rent collection and customizable reports/owner statements.
Cons
The only thing I wish was a bit faster is the time it takes for rent to be deposited into our bank account, which typically takes 3- to5 business days.

Pros
Its hard to choose just one thing. I absolutely love how Rentroom consolidates all the information about our tenants and properties in one place boosting my productivity and efficiency. With over 20 years of experience in student rentals and around 1000 tenants at any given time Rentroom is truly a lifesaver for me!
Cons

“Rentroom Review”
Pros
I appreciate that Rentroom is a free software with a professional appearance and a range of nice features. They continue to add and update functionalities. If I encounter any issues the team is always responsive and resolves them promptly.
Cons
Since it's a newer company, it seems like they are still figuring things out. The website has some glitches and issues with certain features. Some features are more challenging to use than they should be. I wish there were more editing options because once you enter information it's difficult to change. Overall it is a great software, but there are small aspects within the software that can be frustrating. I believe these issues will be resolved and become easier to use over time.

“A Great Program Improving Frequently”
Pros
The app is constantly evolving and improving, which I find impressive. I have particularly enjoyed the recent additions such as the Ledger tab. The tenant app offers a straightforward experience while the browser functions for administrators/landlords are robust. Rentroom has simplified the monthly cash reconciliation process, and exporting data to Excel is a breeze. The maintenance request feature allows us to efficiently coordinate repairs. Overall Rentroom has consolidated many of our property management functions into one program, greatly assisting us.
Cons
The reporting capabilities of Rentroom appear to be limited. Visually there are unappealing elements such as dates being displayed in a "YYYY-MM-DD" format. Tenants who don't use Rentroom still need to be managed within Rentroom, requiring the manual entry of cash receipts received outside of Rentroom (e.g check, wire, cash, etc)

“Great Solution for Owner Operators”
Pros
The interface is extremely simple easy to use and I was able to set it up in less than 30 minss thanks to its intuitive backend. My tenants love the mobile app, and the push button notifications make communication a breeze. This has also reduced late payments and allowed us to close our books ahead of schedule.
Cons
For our level of expertise with 90 units it had everything we needed.
