Unfortunately I recently had a disappointing experience with Rentroom. This property management software company left me deeply unsatisfied due to their underwhelming capabilities and deceptive practices. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Rentroom and their software at all costs! The onboarding process initially seemed helpful and collaborative but I later discovered it was because their software lacked capabilities, so they had to compensate on the back-end. My main contact made promises about certain features that turned out to be false. In retrospect it seems he likely made those promises just to make a sale. The initial attentive and supportive service completely disappeared afterward. Lastly I requested support team to cancel my subscription (since they don't provide a link or option to do it yourself in your account), but despite his assurance that he would cancel it, I was still charged $75 in April and May. Overall, it seems they are a struggling software company resorting to unethical sales practices to make any income they can. I am not sure why they would treat me this way when I have clear documentation to submit a claim or complaint. I strongly advise avoiding this company and their software!

Over time, I anticipate the software will improve. In fact, I notice small updates on a weekly basis. What I appreciate most about my experience with Rentroom is the dedicated support team, with whom I collaborate weekly to maximize the platforms potential.

The only issue I have now is related to the timing of my distributions, the visibility of rent income after those distribution dates, and the ability to quickly pay it out at the end of the month.

I have been using Rentroom for approximately six months now and Iam really pleased with it. Running reports is extremely straightforward. There is a wide selection of reports to choose from, and I can export them to CSV or PDF with just a few clicks. These reports are well structured and easy to comprehend, providing valuable insights into the performance of my rental properties. Overall Rentroom has been tremendously helpful.
