“Highly recommend Smoobu - even if you are a small operator
Pros
What stands out to me about the software is how intuitive it is to use, the scheduling and message templates, the capability to instantly synchronize rates across all linked OTAs, the ability to adjust OTA rates as a percentage above direct booking rates, the customizable Digital Guest Guidebook, and the option to organize units into nested structures. These features really enhance my experience with the platform.
Cons
I'm constantly searching for additional features, but what they already provide far surpasses my previous experiences with channel managers.

I oversee 22 properties in Spain and opted for Smoobu for various reasons: affordability, seamless calendar integration (API connections), effective price control, an intuitive integrated website with payment processing and the option for a complimentary domain, a simple built-in application, owner/team access, and automated messaging capabilities. It's a self-educating platform with ample instructional videos, also accessible in Spanish. Customer support is responsive and effective (Special thanks to (customer support). The ability to configure different accounts in multiple languages is particularly beneficial for our diverse team.
Cons
Despite areas for improvement, I still recommend it for efficient reservation report creation, easier navigation through the calendar, the ability to mark up prices on my website to cover Stripe costs, and more efficient calendar views on the app.

Pros
Smoobu likely has the best 'Features/Price' ratio among channel managers. After thorough evaluations over two years, we found it has all the functionality needed for managing small to medium-sized accommodations. The subscription is very affordable. They continuously improve and provide excellent support.
Cons
There are minor functionality issues with the interface. It doesn't affect usability, but sometimes it's clear that certain elements could be more modern.

The only change I would make is to view past bookings directly in the calendar view rather than needing to switch to 'month view' on the app.

The most impactful feature for me was the ability to sync calendars from Airbnb and VRBO onto one calendar that interfaces with my personal website for my short-term rental property. It offers excellent value for the functionality and service provided. Customer service is outstanding, with all questions answered promptly, clearly, and helpfully.
Cons
There have been a couple of instances where I needed to contact Smoobu because canceled reservations on Airbnb don't automatically clear from the Smoobu system. Once I realized I needed to double-check my main calendar after a cancellation, it wasn't an issue.

The platform is very easy to navigate, with well-explained videos for every step. I'm very satisfied with what they offer, the improvements they've made, and the wide range of high-quality features available.
Cons
They need to enhance the statistics and metrics for properties and bookings. There's so much more information that could be included here. Invoices don't generate correctly, and payment details on reservations don't match the commission shown on channels like booking.com or Airbnb. They should synchronize this information across all channels to avoid discrepancies. Also, there's a need for a major update to the Website Builder.4o
