Pros

I've relied on Smoobu for managing my six listings for the past four years, integrating it as a booking engine on my website as well. It operates seamlessly. I value its simplicity in navigation and setup. It includes many impressive functionalities such as automated guest communications, a guidebook feature, and the booking engine, which I've also implemented on various client websites.

Cons

I wish this platform offered more options for pricing and discounts, especially tailored to specific dates rather than applying discounts universally. It's frustrating that the pricing sync issue with VRBO hasn't been resolved yet.

The programme is well structured

Pros

The program is well-organized, highly intuitive, and simple to navigate. I quickly built my homepage with Smoobu, and even though there aren't multiple graphics or layout options, the site is impressive and loads smoothly on all devices. The support team is very helpful and responds promptly.

The price is unbeatable. It handles the basics, like keeping all your listings in sync. Forget about centralized messaging because some things, like VRBO, won't sync. But for small operators with 1-5 properties, it works great, and the price can't be beaten.

Cons

Pros

The Smoobu app is a great starting point for anyone wanting to try a channel manager. We currently manage 27 properties through Smoobu. Our website is also built through Smoobu you can check it out at www.poloapartments.lt. As a user for over three years, I can recommend this program as it is easy to use, responsive, and offers many functions. The price is very competitive compared to other channel managers.

Cons

Despite its claims to adapt to client needs, there are still significant flaws. Our website supports three languages, but Smoobu's check-out is only available in one. I've been requesting this change for over a year with no progress. Additionally, occasional maintenance downtime can lead to double bookings during busy periods. Invoices and check-out pages are only in English, with no other language options available. When listing properties on Smoobu, the amenities selection is limited, lacking an option for free parking, which is crucial. Furthermore, the platform does not allow specifying the number of children or pets, only adults.

The best part of smoobu, by far: its customer service

Pros

While the features of Smoobu meet all our needs, their customer service is exceptional. Since Smoobu is very stable (well-coded, I assume), we rarely need their help. However, when we do, we receive competent and quick responses every single time.

Cons

The recent price increase has had a significant impact on us, especially since we've been using Smoobu since 2018 and were accustomed to their previous pricing structure.

I absolutely love Smoobu as a channel manager! My guests at Villa Hygge in Ciovo Croatia rave about the detailed, personalized websites I can create with Smoobu. Smoobu has been a lifesaver for managing my vacation rental property. I've been using it for over two years now, and their customer service is the best. Smoobu makes being a landlord so much easier! They offer fantastic solutions and have amazing support. I wouldn't manage rentals without Smoobu now. I was hesitant to try their website builder at first, but now I have my own website thanks to their user-friendly tools. As someone who's not exactly a tech whiz, that's saying something! Smoobu is definitely worth the price, especially with the communication tools and pricing features. Overall, it's top-rated.

Setting up and using Smoobu is a breeze. Plus, they have a handy mobile app for keeping track of analytics.

I oversee 22 properties in Spain and opted for Smoobu for various reasons: affordability, seamless calendar integration (API connections), effective price control, an intuitive integrated website with payment processing and the option for a complimentary domain, a simple built-in application, owner/team access, and automated messaging capabilities. It's a self-educating platform with ample instructional videos, also accessible in Spanish. Customer support is responsive and effective (Special thanks to (customer support). The ability to configure different accounts in multiple languages is particularly beneficial for our diverse team.

Cons

Despite areas for improvement, I still recommend it for efficient reservation report creation, easier navigation through the calendar, the ability to mark up prices on my website to cover Stripe costs, and more efficient calendar views on the app.

The most impactful feature for me was the ability to sync calendars from Airbnb and VRBO onto one calendar that interfaces with my personal website for my short-term rental property. It offers excellent value for the functionality and service provided. Customer service is outstanding, with all questions answered promptly, clearly, and helpfully.

Cons

There have been a couple of instances where I needed to contact Smoobu because canceled reservations on Airbnb don't automatically clear from the Smoobu system. Once I realized I needed to double-check my main calendar after a cancellation, it wasn't an issue.

The platform is very easy to navigate, with well-explained videos for every step. I'm very satisfied with what they offer, the improvements they've made, and the wide range of high-quality features available.

Cons

They need to enhance the statistics and metrics for properties and bookings. There's so much more information that could be included here. Invoices don't generate correctly, and payment details on reservations don't match the commission shown on channels like booking.com or Airbnb. They should synchronize this information across all channels to avoid discrepancies. Also, there's a need for a major update to the Website Builder.4o
