Met all our expectations

Pros

All the features really came in handy for what I needed them for. There were quite a few moments where I actually thought, Wow this is impressive!

Cons

There were moments where it felt a bit limited. Even though it is easy to use which is great, but at times I just wished it offered a bit more.

A smooth journey so far!

Pros

When I first opened my store over 12 years ago Artisan was the only software that could handle consignment inventory, generate and print artist statements and still work like a regular POS system. Even now, 12 years later using the same software and hardware, I only ran into my first real issue last month. Tech support got back to me right away and walked me through the fix in just 15 minutes. I have been checking out other programs lately that claim to do the same but I still feel confident that when it's time for an upgrade I will stick with it. Their in house support team is simply the best. And I used to think it was a bit expensive but looking back over 12 years, it is actually been a great investment.

Cons

Honestly it has way more features than I even use. And I cannot really think of anything I do not like about it.

Decent system

Pros

What stands out for me is how easy it is to use and how great the customer service has been. Anytime I had a question or needed help with the POS someone was always there to assist. Overall I never had a problem getting support.

Cons

Not a fan of the interface as it looks kind of outdated. Also it is frustrating that when I stop carrying certain products, there is no way to filter them out while browsing inventory. Everything shows up even the discontinued stuff, which makes reordering more of a hassle.

Loving it, so far

Pros

It does a great job managing inventory and prints out all the sales along with what's still left in the store each month when it is time to send out the consignment checks. In short I like it.

Cons

We run a small cafe inside the gallery and added a patch to create sales receipts for it. When a group wants to split the bill on two credit cards our only option is to print the receipt twice and manually write a different name on one of them since both print with the same cardholder's name. It can get pretty confusing for customers sometimes.
