Pros
The training team at Celerant is quite amazing. My implementation trainer was the most patient and dedicated person I have ever worked with. Since I came into retail with zero experience and now run my own store, her deep knowledge of both the Cumulus system and retail in general has been a game changer. She is very responsive and patient throughout the entire go live process and even after that. I credit a big part of my successful launch to her. Also software integration with my suppliers is a huge win especially when you are doing everything yourself. And that Knowledge Base feature in the back office? Total superb.
Cons
I feel like it could definitely use a more modern look. The back office layout and navigation tree are not the most user friendly as it takes way too many clicks just to add a product and print a price tag. Another issue is that it does not let us set up our own labels or tags like picking which fields to include or adjusting margins and label sizes which is a bit disappointing. Also the dashboard options are really limited there is not much room to customize the view. In today's world of widgets and custom dashboards that feels like a missed opportunity.

“Easy to learn”
Pros
Learning how to use the POS and navigate the back office was very easy. As it did not take long at all for me to get the hang of it.
Cons
The system randomly freezes and logs people out which means we have to clear the cache and log back in. Any work in progress gets lost when that happens and if it keeps happening, it eats up a lot of time.

Pros
The sales pitch was quite amazing. Also it is simple to close out the till and keep track of cash. Well that's pretty much what stood out to me the most.
Cons
It is hard to say what is more frustrating like the issues with the product itself or the lack of proper support I get.

“Packed with great features”
Pros
Once we get used to all the features it becomes quite easy to use. Also it is easy to search for specific products, brands or categories. The reporting side is also very detailed especially if you get the report design package. Plus everyone we have dealt with from sales to customer service has been highly knowledgeable and helpful.
Cons
Well I am still learning the program, so I have nothing negative to say so far.

The customer support is truly amazing, the best I have ever experienced.
Cons
I would have loved it more if Stephanie could have come on-site for the setup. Even though it is not a con but my personal preference.

Pros
Two people helping with implementation were honestly some of the best professionals I have worked with. They made everything easy to understand and were always there when I had a question or ran into a problem.
Cons
There are a few areas where I wish the category options were more detailed and had deeper classifications.

Pros
The training team, especially Quinn really went above and beyond during our transition to the new system. He repeated things when they were not clear and took extra time to make sure everything was set up correctly and on time.
Cons
The back office could definitely be organized better as for now it is a little unclear to me how the different apps are laid out.

Pros
I love how well it integrates with other software we use. Also it is packed with features but still easy to manage. Our trainer did an awesome job helping us before, during and after the setup answered all our questions without missing a beat.
Cons
Only issue is that we did not make the switch sooner.
