“Top-notch support every time”
Pros
For our business, customer service has been the biggest advantage. The support team is outstanding and incredibly quick to respond. Whenever something time-sensitive comes up, they address it right away. We can call for faster help when needed and for less urgent matters, email works well too and still gets answered promptly.
Cons
One thing I still wish they had is a proper manual, since I'm a bit old school. It also would have helped during the transition if there had been some kind of checklist or step-by-step guide leading up to going live on the main system.

“Inventory control is efficient”
Pros
It covers all the key parts of running our rental business and the customer support has been phenomenal. The interface is very user-friendly which makes managing inventory feel effortless.
Cons
The software was so easy to use that getting familiar with it barely took any effort for us at all.

“Reliable platform with constant updates”
Pros
We've been using this for years and it has consistently worked well for our industry. It's also nice to see that they keep introducing new features on a regular basis.
Cons
On the ecommerce side, I really wish it felt less template-driven and offered more room for customization. The design isn't very appealing and comes across as boxy and generic. Overall it doesn't look very polished or modern but we continue using it because it gets the job done. That said my team gets frustrated by how many limitations there are in terms of what we're able to change and we definitely wish the interface looked more current.

“USER FRIENDLY SOFTWARE”
Pros
Using it has made things much more simple for me because the platform is very user-friendly. On top of that the support team has been excellent and responds quickly whenever any issue comes up.
Cons
The only drawback I've run into is that the mobile version feels slower and less responsive than I'd prefer and there are a few internal notes.

What I've appreciated most about using FocalPoint has been how engaged and responsive the Visum team is. Whenever I share feedback or propose an improvement, they take it seriously, look into what's possible, offer thoughtful input and get back to me quickly. It really feels more like working with a partner than just using a product and knowing that user feedback is genuinely heard and acted on has made the experience a very positive one.
Cons
A downside with it is that some areas feel repetitive especially when the same information has to be entered in more than one place. That adds extra steps and can make things a bit confusing. On top of that there's no way to remove or hide tabs or options that aren't being used so the interface ends up feeling more cluttered than necessary. If those processes were smooth the workflow would be much more efficient and user-friendly.

Working with it has been pretty easy for our team and the equipment tracking plus reservation features work really well.

The support team has been excellent for us and the software offers a lot of features while still being simple to use.
Cons
Locating reports and feeling confident in their accuracy is difficult because some data was incomplete or inaccurate when rental items were originally created.
