Outdated system

Pros

There's not much about this system that I appreciate. Processing transactions through it is about the only part that stands out at all.

Cons

Compared with other options this system really falls short especially when it comes to smart inventory management. The register behavior is awkward and badly suited for the pace of in-store traffic. Its hardware integrations and compatibility also feel stuck with outdated choices. On top of that we end up spending more every day just trying to work around its ongoing issues.

poor experience with it

Pros

Not a single feature I could point to as a positive. I ended up disappointed with just about every part of this company and its software.

Cons

Our online platform and in-store system were out of sync almost every day which created a mess with missing tickets and lost orders. The reporting tools never worked the way they were supposed to and data wasn't being communicated or tracked correctly between locations. Support was just a generic 1-800 number and despite being told we'd have a dedicated contact, we were left waiting on hold for hours. On top of that, the so-called universal loyalty and marketing tools kept breaking down and repeatedly blasted our customers with spam emails.

Helpful loyalty program

Pros

When a barcode won't scan, it's still quick to pull up items at the register. The loyalty program is really useful because it keeps track of receipts from previous purchases so you can see what a customer bought before. It also gives you the option to set up text message marketing.

Cons

One issue is that it doesn't automatically override discounts to apply the best deal for the customer. I've also had random items appear on the screen while checking someone out. Another issue is that the "hide keyboard" button doesn't appear when creating a new gift card.

Customizable tools for daily tasks

Pros

Having payroll, employee scheduling and appointment booking all in one product has been really useful. It comes with a wide range of features which is something I've really appreciated.

Cons

There was a small difficulty in understanding the tool at the beginning but after that I haven't run into any real issues.

Terrible support team

Pros

The reporting is good and it also offers multi-store integration which is useful.

Cons

The video tutorials and written documentation are really poor. We end up having to figure everything out on our own and customer support is terrible because they never seem able to help. On top of that, the price is very expensive.

Quick adoption

Pros

For me, starting out with it felt very natural and the icons are simple enough that using the software is simple.

Cons

Sometimes the data sync speed can be a bit challenging for me.

Pros

helpful reporting

Pros

Getting around the system is easy for me and the reporting features work really well.

Cons

There are a few small glitches here and there but I can usually work around them during day-to-day use.

centralized inventory is useful

Pros

Managing inventory for all our locations from one place is the feature I appreciate most in this software.

Cons

A frustrating issue for us is needing separate logins for each location just to handle inventory. It also allows inventory counts to drop into the negative even when that setting is supposed to be turned off. On top of that, not every part of a product can be edited. To make items list separately, I have to open each SKU under the "more" tab and turn on serial numbers one by one and then when those items are sold, the small pop-up at the register slows down checkout on the front end.

Constant crashes ruin it

Pros

The interface feels friendly and is simple for me to navigate.

Cons

Beyond what I mentioned in pro it has been a mess for us. It crashes all the time and cannot handle even a moderate amount of input. Overall it feels very unstable.
