“offers chat help but needs improvements”
Pros
The setup is easy and adding it to a website or social media is just as simple. The free version is completely enough for our needs and the chat support is really very good.
Cons
A few downsides are worth mentioning. First, you can't turn down the notification volume. Second, there's no app for a PC or Windows laptop although you might be able to run the Android app on a laptop through BlueStacks. Third, only one device can be logged in at a time. And Gloria pushes you toward buying an Epson thermal printer and downloading a paid app as well. It honestly makes you wonder whether they get a commission from that. A small workaround: when an order comes in, just take a screenshot of it and print it out on a regular printer.

“Amazing customization options”
Pros
Customization options made a big difference as we could shape the online menu to match our brand exactly the way we wanted. On top of that, connecting it to our existing website was effortless. The real-time order notifications have been incredibly useful because they help us stay on top of every order and the analytics provide valuable insight into customer behavior.
Cons
An area that could be improved is the knowledge base. It would be much more helpful if it were built into the admin area better, with hover-over tips, pop-up links and feature-related guidance.

“great support team”
Pros
Compared with every other option we looked at, they were the only provider prepared to support us in Namibia. Their support has been outstanding, their reliability has been excellent and they even went the extra mile to help us integrate with an online payment provider.
Cons
One thing I'd still love to see is more menu customization so restaurant menus don't all end up looking identical. It would also be really useful if delivery zones and operating times could automatically open or close depending on the day of the week and time of day. During quieter periods, you could cover more zones and during busier times, reduce them.

“setup was quick”
Pros
Getting everything up and running was very simple and the customer service team has been phenomenal whenever support was needed.
Cons
My only minor complaint is that I can't customize the preview text field for additional comments, since options like salt and pepper don't really make sense for pound cakes.

“Instant support from the team”
Pros
After only a couple of weeks using the system, I did run into a few setup problems. Still, the Gloria Food team responded quickly and helped resolve every issue I had.
Cons
It would be better to have the option to remove the pin on the address instead of only being able to skip it. Also, the restaurant app needs to stay open, since notifications do not come through when the phone is on standby.

“Not recommended from my side”
Pros
Only positive thing about it was that setting up the menu items was simple enough but beyond that the platform felt pretty average.
Cons
A serious flaw showed up in the online ordering system. Customers can type in one address and then move the map pin to a different spot in a lower-cost or even free delivery zone to avoid the correct delivery fee. When I brought this up and asked them to fix it, they said it was up to the client, even though their system is what makes it possible. This kind of issue can cost a business a significant amount of money and I'm now searching for another option.

“Convenient to use”
Pros
Using it feels very easy and there's a lot of flexibility to customize it the way we need. Taking orders through the software is really simple and convenient.
Cons
Something I really wish was available is the ability to take orders from a PC. I'd really like to have that option available.

“POOR SERVICE”
Pros
The platform does the job it's supposed to do. We joined their partner program and recommended the service and its add-ons to several restaurants, expecting it would support our clients while also bringing in some commission revenue.
Cons
The biggest problem was that we were never paid the commissions we were owed. They kept blaming issues with our PayPal account, saying it couldn't accept their payments. We provided a different account and they gave us the same excuse again. After we even shared messages from PayPal confirming there was no problem on either side, they stopped replying altogether. My advice would be to use the software if it fits your needs but bill the customer yourself and pay for the service directly. I would not rely on or trust their affiliate commission program because there's a real chance you simply won't get paid.

“Efficient order management”
Pros
There's a lot to appreciate here for example the menu builder works well, it connects with third-party delivery dispatch systems and the multilingual interface is a real plus. Customers can place orders without confusion and restaurant staff pick it up quickly too. It also feels like a properly developed platform with a large existing user base which adds some confidence. Another big advantage is being able to add online ordering to an existing website, Google Business Profile and Facebook business page. If the site runs on WordPress having a free plugin available is also a nice bonus. On the paid side, the automatic payment system and the option to set up multiple promotional offers have been especially useful.
Cons
There are still some frustrating limitations. A restaurant can only use one tablet so there's no option to keep one at the front and another in the kitchen. It also can't calculate delivery fees accurately based on real driving distance and this remains the number one complaint I hear from most of my clients. Some promotions are too restricted by the current formula templates as well. For instance you can't set a fixed dollar discount on delivery fees, only a percentage-based one. Support is understanding when these missing features are brought up but the roadmap is outdated and I still haven't been able to get long-requested features added even after nearly five years.
