“Excellent backhouse support”

Using it has been very simple and the Krunchbox Go option is a nice addition as well. It lets you drill down into the areas that need extra attention and focus.

Sometimes there are so many reports available that it can feel overwhelming and hard to figure out which one works best.

No con to mention since we did not look into or consider any other program. We heard very positive feedback about it and decided to move forward with this tool.

Pros

Having the team handle the processing and intake of our weekly retailer POS files has saved our data insights team a lot of time. Being able to analyze POS data across almost any date range is a big improvement over our previous process of compiling everything into a weekly Excel file.

Cons

The integration ended up taking longer than we originally expected because of file complexity, the size of our catalog and the condition of our product masters. Even with that, their team supported us throughout the process and took on as much of the heavy lifting as they could to get us fully up and running.

Pros

Being able to mine the data coming out of LWS VPP is one of its biggest advantages. The available reports and dashboards help track day-to-day business operations, assess business risk and build the data needed to communicate that risk and manage it more effectively across the business. It also supports business planning well especially around POS and inventory trends, identifying key business pivots and predictions and providing reporting that supports Resideo's operational needs. On top of that, the collaborative partnership with Doug and BK has been valuable and clearly centered on improving and growing the business.

Cons

At the same time the lack of customization in reporting and dashboards is a real limitation. There is also a noticeable gap between the channel-level reporting and tools that are available and the customer-specific reporting and tools that are actually needed which creates a key value proposition gap at both the vendor and retailer levels. The way report generation works also makes data mining less productive than it should be and at times it becomes downright frustrating. On top of all that, it is very slow.

Pros

Installing and running this system has been a very simple process. The Customer/IT Support team has been fantastic and always willing to help so you get the most out of the system. It is user-friendly and simple to browse with lots of editable reports and dashboard options. Reporting is incredibly fast compared with other systems I've worked with which makes it much easier to move on with the rest of the job. Having everything in one platform right at your fingertips saves time and makes the whole workflow more productive. The Allocator stock suggestions are smart and do a good job of making sure stock ends up where it needs to go. It also works really well as a style and store reporting tool, with plenty of useful data available.

Cons

Even after using it every day for many years, I really don't have any dislikes. The only thing I'd suggest as an improvement is adding the option to load store/style gradings into KB. That would be extremely useful for reporting especially to check whether retailers allocated top-ranged styles and stores are performing as expected. It would also be very helpful to have that available in Allocator stock suggestions when there's a need to allocate to specific store grades.

Report writing tools and the pre-formatted reports are excellent for our work.

Getting the exact formatting I want can be a bit tricky sometimes unless I spend time adjusting the selections.

Pros

One of the best parts of this software is how efficient the reporting is. It pulls in all the data you need and presents it in whatever format works best for you. I use it every day across different parts of the business from tracking KPIs to managing inventory and it really covers everything I need.

Cons

Most of the filter settings are saved as we go but a few of them still are not. Every now and then I also have to tweak the formatting in exported Excel files.
