AVOID LISTRAK

Pros

On the functional side, the platform’s core behavioral workflows get the job done. Automated triggers for shopping cart & browse abandonment respond accurately to real-time site activity. When combined with dynamic product recommendations, these underlying retention journeys effectively monetize active store traffic in the background with minimal effort.

Cons

Thinking about Listrak for your ecommerce tech stack? Proceed with caution. Working with Listrak can significantly slow your team down due to restrictive contract terms, high account turnover, and a clunky, outdated platform. Key issues to watch out for: Predatory Contracting: Watch out for strict auto-renewal clauses with zero heads-up notice, followed by legal pushback the moment you attempt to offboard. High Turnover & Poor Support: Constant account manager churn leaves you stranded. Instead of strategic guidance or help with new workflows, expect to be handed basic self-service links. Outdated Software: The UI feels stuck in the mid-2000s. Basic campaign setups create unnecessary friction, and getting clean reporting often requires pulling data out to work on manually. If your brand values agility, modern tools, and transparent vendor partnerships, you’ll likely find better value elsewhere.

support team is nice

Pros

It includes many of the standard features you'd expect from other email marketing platforms and our experience with the support and client care team has been excellent.

Cons

Where it falls short is in how its features are presented vs implemented. If you're picking an email marketing platform, it's hard to justify choosing this over more established apps that are already considered industry standards.

Excellent platform!

Pros

After trying to leave detailed feedback in the earlier sections, I couldn't continue unless I cleared it out so I'll sum it up here: the platform has been excellent to work with. Our advertising agency handles deployment from the platform while my team supplies the content. We also have lead capture running from our website. Right now we're working on integrating a direct weekly feed of customer transactions for analytics, along with a "thank you for your purchase" email that includes an embedded video from our owners. The reporting has been excellent and our Listrak rep is very responsive to both the agency and us as the client. We've also realized the platform can scale and expand with what we need. I only wish I had known about the SMS functionality earlier, before I committed to another platform for that piece which I do like but I'd much rather have all of our communications managed in one place. Even our agency enjoys using the platform and we were actually the ones who introduced it to them.

Cons

Nothing specific comes to mind right now. Down the road I'd just like to bring SMS into the mix as well.
