Helping small restaurants look professional

Pros

We absolutely love how simple and intuitive owner.com is. From designing and editing our website to handling email marketing, everything is simple and easy. The whole platform really makes small businesses like ours look professional and gives us the feel of a much larger company. Its really good!

Cons

Overall even though the return on investment happens quickly, the cost of the software is still a big factor for us. Also we would like to see more direct integrations instead of relying on another third party like OTTER.

Genuine support, real potential

Pros

Owner.com helped us build stronger relationships with our customers and allowed us to focus on direct orders without having to rely on third party platforms and their crazy fees. The onboarding experience was really smooth and their team was responsive and hands on throughout. We really appreciated the built in marketing tools that help us stay connected with guests and encourage repeat business. It's clear they are building something with long-term value and it's been great being part of it right from the early days.

Cons

As a higher end, sustainability focused restaurant, we felt some parts of the platform could be better tailored to modern, experience-driven brands. The system seems focused more on speed and convenience, which is understandable but we would love more customization options, the ability to sell our bottled wine and tools that support a high-touch, guest-centered experience. That said, we are hopeful Owner.com continues to develop in this direction.

Great efforts

Pros

I really like the marketing features specially sending promo emails and how they encourage people who signed up to pre order.

Cons

I wish I could create my own promotions like buy-one-get-one or weekly specials such as 50% off a specific item or highlight different promos each week.

Revenue-boosting game changer with quick results

Pros

This platform helped us cut back a huge chunk of third-party delivery fees in just the first week. They offer a wide range of marketing tools like automated text and email blasts and also custom conversion cards that turn third-party online orders into direct sales through your own app or website, both of which they build for you from scratch!

Cons

It would be great if they offered photography and videography services for our restaurant like our previous provider, SpotHopper, did. Also there are some limitations in setting up custom text and email marketing campaigns such as not being able to segment our user base or send test emails and texts before sending out the actual campaigns.

Definitely worth the cost

Pros

Onboarding process for getting online orders up and running was fast and efficient. Their support team is quick to respond and usually very helpful whenever I have any questions or issues.

Cons

The online rewards system doesn't integrate with our POS system and the same goes for gift cards. These can only be used for online orders, not in-store, so we currently don't use online gift cards to avoid confusing our customers.

Conflicted experiences

Pros

Owner.com was quick and easy to set up. Also their templates are so simple and the dashboard and admin panel have been really helpful to navigate.

Cons

It's sold as a premium product meant to increase revenue but in reality, it doesn't. There's no support or guidance on how to actually grow revenue, which is the whole reason to pay the premium price.

I would say, its very easy to use. The customer support is fantastic, and it really helped boost our online orders and encourage repeat business.

Cons

Going strong

Pros

Overall my experience has been really good, especially compared to what I used before. Customizing things is easy and any changes I make take effect immediately. I love the reporting features because they clearly show progress and areas for improvement. It's user friendly both for me as a business owner and for customers and the 24/7 support and the team's willingness to help make it a reliable platform. Accessing business reports is simple and straightforward as well.

Cons

Some areas of customization are very limited. For example, if I want to add a video to the site, it has to be a YouTube video. And also, the cost feels high.

Missing out if you use another platform

Pros

Owner.com is easy to use and integrates smoothly with third-party platforms like Clover POS. If you have ever struggled to set up your own delivery system, this one offers a really simple and effective solution.

Cons

The table function can be a little slow, although you can arrange deliveries from your own restaurant directly to your customers.

Instant boost in sales

Pros

I'm so happy with Owner.com in general. They got me set up extremely fast and took care of about 95% of the setup for me and I saw instant results and an immediate boost in online sales with customers shifting away from third-party apps.

Cons

Customer service was very accessible and helpful during the launch, but became difficult to reach afterward.

Championing small businesses

Pros

Very informative right from the start. They kept me updated at every step and continued to check in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Cons

I haven't really found anything I dislike so far. The only thing is that it's not compatible with our current POS system but they provided us with a tablet to use instead.

Terrible customer service!

Pros

Good SEO features but honestly, everything else feels subpar to me.

Cons

Customer service is the worst. You can't customize anything and whenever you have a problem, they open a ticket saying they will get back to you within 24 hours but that 24 hours never comes.

Don't waste time!

Pros

I have absolutely nothing good to say about this. The commercials make it look exciting but they do a terrible job for your actual business. Don't waste your time or money and go with a different option and avoid this service.

Cons

I had a horrible experience and awful customer service after paying. There was a complete lack of communication. Don't waste your time or money!! there are many other better, cheaper and more efficient services out there.

A must-have! saves thousands on delivery fees and tech

Pros

Over the years I have tried many different solutions for multiple businesses and I must say Owner.com has been the easiest to use by far and their support team is knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions I have.

Cons

This is more of a suggestion but it would be great if their dashboard linked to my social media accounts so I could quickly access them.

This is awesome!

Pros

So simple to use and overall design is excellent! Customers really love how the website is set up. Everything has been a solid 10 out of 10 experience.

Cons

There was an adjustment period coming from our previous website developer but thankfully that's over now.

Loved it!

Pros

Customers have been enjoying the new platform. They say it's much easier to place orders than the old platform we used, Bento Box.

Cons

Having 86 items off the menu seems to confuse employees. We reported this issue and apparently it's being worked on.

Perfect for restaurants wanting to stand out online

Pros

Loved how slick the website design is. It takes a regular menu and makes it interactive, encouraging customers to order immediately. It also helps increase sales with upsell options like suggesting commonly paired or additional items and we saw a 10% increase in average ticket size just from the upselling features alone.

Cons

Would love to see more integration features with our POS system. Now , Owner.com can send information but doesn't receive updates from our POS regarding menus. Depending on your POS, this may not be developed yet to keep menus in one source�. I would also like to see Owner.com develop POS and kiosk features.

Pros

Their rewards system has really helped me build a loyal base of frequent diners.

Grateful to them!

Pros

They customized a personal website for me and it turned out amazing, I loved that! Plus they offer delivery services along with the online ordering platform, which is super convenient

Cons

Honestly I have no real complaints or dislikes about Owner.com. If I had to pick something, it would be that the customer support number should be more obvious in the guest's order details.
