“A real upgrade for our team
Pros
The user interface is easy to use and the multi-user functionality is something I like the most.
Cons
One thing I wish for is that they offered their own POS equipment.

“Loved it!
Pros
We have had a really great collaborative relationship with TC and they have been responsive to our needs.
Cons
Honestly most of the issues or features I wanted to see, TC has already addressed. The Shopify integration has been a game changer for us and the custom reporting has added so much value to our operations.

“Definitely worth checking out
Pros
I love how easy it is to use and the wide variety of reports available. The main selling point for us was the ability to automatically apply rotational discounts to purchases.
Cons
The implementation process took some trial and error but now everything is working fine for us.

“Perfect fit for our resale store
Pros
Thrift Cart is truly designed with thrift shops in mind. If there is a specific feature we need, it's either already there or can be added with ease. Also it is really easy to use and the support team is amazing. They are always just a call or text away and resolve most issues right away. The round up donation feature is especially effective for generating a lot of revenue. The text messaging and integrated loyalty program have been crucial for building a strong, engaged customer base. Overall it has proven an invaluable tool for us.
Cons
This is not necessarily a con but there are areas where it could improve. The visual design feels a bit outdated compared to other software we have used.

“Hands down our favorite
Pros
The ability to set up rotational discounts is a major reason Thrift Cart is the best POS we have used. But most importantly it allows us to track sales and categories through excellent reports. Their pickup software is fantastic too. They always suggest new features they have developed and keep their customers updated. I highly recommend it!
Cons
Its implementation was a bit tricky at first. However by the time we set up our second store, they had made significant improvements.

“Helped us level up our store
Pros
It was made specifically for thrift stores and provides almost everything a thrift store needs in a POS and donation scheduling system. The setup process is thorough and their team is always willing to help, no matter how small the issue. We are saving over $500 a month after switching to Thrift Cart.
Cons
The only real downside I would like to mention is that it could be more transparent about their card processing percentage and the equipment needed. We were told the card processing fee would be 2.8% but when we signed the paperwork, the actual rate was 2.89%. Even though it was not a deal breaker but it does add up over time. Also when we first contacted it we were told that some of our old POS equipment might work but we ended up having to buy new equipment. Thankfully we got some donated from another source.

“Perfect for our needs
Pros
Setting up and using it on the go was not a problem for us. Overall it was easy.
Cons
When pricing items if you stop for 5 to 10 minutes, you have to remember to change your ticket color back to the one you are working on because it automatically reverts to white.
