Fantastic sales tracking tool

Pros

Love how this tool tracks engagement with prospects and assigns a risk score, allowing me to prioritize which accounts to focus on each week.

Cons

I sometimes have trouble signing in due to my monitor size. The error says I'm using a mobile browser but I'm clearly on my dual screens. It's not a huge issue but it's something that could be addressed.

Powerful forecasting and deal risk management tool

Pros

The ability for Sales Reps and Managers to submit weekly forecasts along with insights from BoostUp is fantastic. The engagement risk score for individual deals helps Sales Management easily investigate deals and justify their forecast positions. Their Slack support is outstanding, with very fast response and resolution times.

Cons

The admin tools could be improved. I can't log in as a user or add my own filters to the data. However their excellent support mitigates this to some extent. The AI sometimes has trouble identifying deals that are primarily partner run which causes them to appear riskier than they actually are. I also don't like that the Forecast Risk AI Score needs several months to learn from my data.

The one tool that AEs actually love

Pros

When we considered rolling out BoostUp, one major concern (as with any sales-related tool) was AE adoption. We were worried it could lead to micromanagement or simply highlight where additional work was needed. However it ended up being the opposite. This is the only tool our AEs have willingly embraced. It has made forecasting easier for our AEs, Directors and Sales Ops team, giving us a unified view of accounts and making account handoffs much smoother. We eventually rolled it out to the SDR team too, where it was quickly adopted and well-supported.

Cons

It was buggy when we first rolled it out and there are still some issues in terms of fully integrating with the platform. The good part is the team is incredibly responsive and has worked with us to quickly fix issues and update the roadmap. Sometimes there are issues with mapping contacts on cross/upsells and filtering out marketing emails from the prospect company.

Great engagement scoring, but still evolving

Pros

BoostUp does an excellent job measuring "engagement" with a specific deal by analyzing emails and meetings, providing an accurate risk score. It's a great tool for getting a quick overview of your deals without diving too deep.

Cons

I've run into several issues with submitting forecasts. There have been times when I submit my forecast but my manager can't see it. It's improved over the past few months but it's concerning when your manager tells you that you haven't done something you've already completed.

I love how easy it is to use and how it syncs seamlessly with Salesforce.

No more deal risk

Pros

Combines seller-reported data from CRM with email and calendar information to provide a full 360 degree view of engagement.

Cons

While the data engine is incredibly strong it's still early in their product lifecycle. The team has been great to work with and has made a lot of custom configurations for us.

Perfect for early adopters

Pros

We find value in BoostUp in three key areas: First assessing risk in our pipeline and planning strategies to address it. Second, reviewing rep activity across key criteria (1st meetings, demos, negotiation stages) to optimize sales enablement at both the account and deal level. Lastly, it provides a bottom-up forecast based on pipeline deals and stages to ensure we meet our goals.

Cons

Sometimes linkages between Salesforce and outlook are disrupted but that has improved.

More efficient than Salesforce

Pros

I love that I can simply hover over each buyer and seller email on the timeline to see past activities instead of clicking into each entry in Salesforce. This was especially useful when I first started and took over accounts, helping me quickly get up to speed. I still use it regularly to refresh my memory before calls or follow up emails. It's also great that my manager can review the most recent emails during our 1:1s without me having to forward each one.

Cons

No dislikes yet. It makes my job far easier and I'm excited to see what they add next to help me expedite processes.

A game-changing platform for pipeline clarity

Pros

I'm impressed with how it integrates all the data sources to provide an accurate estimate of which pipeline deals are likely to close, which are at risk and what steps need to be taken to secure them.

Cons

Can't really think of anything that can be improved at this time.

A work in progress that could improve UI

Pros

It loads and updates much quicker than Salesforce and saves time by syncing directly into Salesforce.

Cons

If you happen to click out of a BoostUp field while typing, your input isn't saved and you lose everything you wrote. This is very frustrating and happens frequently, causing me to waste time rewriting notes.

Provides valuable insights

Pros

BoostUp makes it easy to dive into trends, details, and risk factors in your pipeline, making it an excellent tool for managing forecasts.

Cons

Early stage, so some of the features we have to make ad hoc requests to get done but they do it quickly.

Promising software, but UI needs improvement

Pros

I really like the deal momentum analytics. It does a great job of tracking activity, titles, meetings, topics and assessing how the deal is trending. It's useful for both self-assessment and planning next steps with my manager.

Cons

The UI could use some work. It's difficult to view your opportunities as a whole. It's great for tracking active deals that are forecasted for the current quarter but I find myself having to click a lot of buttons to see my entire pipeline for the fiscal year or even the next quarter.

true game-changer

Pros

It excels at forecasting and identifying major risks in our deal cycles. One of my favorite features is the ability to spot disengaged contacts and remind reps to close the loop on pending connections.

Cons

Not really much to dislike in my experience. We were formally very Salesforce-based and now all of my pipeline reviews and pipeline analysis happens in BoostUp.
